The crazy thing about my win was the only thing I did different was block everything out and focus. I felt I was in control the whole time. Only 1 nutty pass from me. I can't help but think this was a fluke, lol. I WON, I WON, I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I might have to eat some thoughts/words. Greenie I was doubting you man. I can see where you were going with these. Play smart and chances are you will win. Gotta play sim-like whatever that is but it works. Can't wait to try another game.

"Don't play video games, play basketball" i had to say it again, but The Czar was right, you have to focus and play NBA basketball to win, especially with good settings that challenge you. Imagine if NBA teams played avg just because they were playing weaker teams? it would be a lot more upsets in the league than what we see.

Happy for you man, keep on winning and keep playing that same type of basketball.

Guys, i'm playing on All-Star.. Whenever i'm going hot with someone (ex. score 8-10 points in a row) .. how do i make the CPU adjust their defense and come double me? Also, is it just me or is it really easy to do a few crossovers and blow past the defender, but there's no help defense coming to stop me?

I played more than 20 games and won 3, maybe I have to play more!! :-D

I try to play better defense every time, but my player get stuck in blocks and CPU can always find an open man or get free from the defender. Add this to contested shoots that goes in and here comes the lost game :-)

Guys please try to play against the Wizard. Wallace hits tons of threes and is almost unstoppable. He wasn't so good when I used him in Orlando, eh eh. I'll try to reset my mind from the bad habits and play defense from scratch.

Hey Cesco I'm gonna play the Wizards again and see if I get a different result. The last time I was blown out by the end of the 1st qtr. Will report back after the 1st qtr.

Down 24-30 with the Lakers. Only 2 goofy passes that resulted in to's. Lakers shooting 50% to Wiz's 42%

After 3 qtrs I have the lead 80-79 WOW!!!
Down 52-55 at the half. Was down by as much as 13 but got back in it

So much for me getting back in this one. Wizs started the 4th qtr on a 18-4 run. They are hitting everything, I have like 6 straight to's

Ended up losing 100-109. The Wizards turned into World Champs again. They just became unstoppable for some reason. I can say without a doubt I probably played harder than at any point in the game only to come up short no matter what adjustments I made. For some reason I can't score jumpshots at a consistent pace to save my life. I never get that "HOT" player in none of my games which I do miss.

All in all these are the way to go but it just takes "48 minutes of FOCUS" to win. Gonna stick with these because at the end of the day these are just very good for my style of play it just took the light bulb to turn on for me realize it.

The answer you seek is right there in the numbers. Abstract arguments could be made to discredit certain numbers, but that's not the point. The point is to make the game enjoyable again. And, more than that, the point is to make the game realistic.

Incidentally, it's interesting that the no one has complained about getting to the free throw line 5 times more per game than the CPU.

I'm playing AS against the Wizards and at halftime it's 58-52 for them. It's really hard to contain them, Lewis scored 11 points in the first 3 minutes (!!) and I decided to double him (tight-tight-double). I pointed my chances on Howard (so far 16 points and 5 blocks) and on Richardson (three 3 pointers). For the first time I read all my players ratings and tried to make with them what they really are good at and so far I've been re paid.

I realized you have to play really tight defense when controlling your player. If you can manage to stay near the ball handler you can make him commit errors. Now I feel I can manage this game, but the Wizards are really out of this world. Next I'll continue my association and not get crazy with them.

I'm playing with Purist 3.5, Rashidi rosters and coaching profiles coming with them.

Damn, I thought work finished some hours ago! You gotta get paid for playing AS with this game!!!!!! :-D

It's really hard to contain them, Lewis scored 11 points in the first 3 minutes (!!) and I decided to double him (tight-tight-double). I pointed my chances on Howard (so far 16 points and 5 blocks) and on Richardson (three 3 pointers). For the first time I read all my players ratings and tried to make with them what they really are good at and so far I've been re paid.

I realized you have to play really tight defense when controlling your player. If you can manage to stay near the ball handler you can make him commit errors. Now I feel I can manage this game, but the Wizards are really out of this world. Next I'll continue my association and not get crazy with them.

I'm playing with Purist 3.5, Rashidi rosters and coaching profiles coming with them.

Damn, I thought work finished some hours ago! You gotta get paid for playing AS with this game!!!!!! :-D

These are the final stats from the last game I completed. I was the Rockets, but bear in mind I did a fanstasy draft and have Monta Ellis & Dirk on my squad.




My scoring fluctuates game to game, but seems to alway be over 100. The one thing that I don't really care for is the amount of bad inbound passes. It's like a crap shoot everytime. It's the craziest thing I've ever seen, how do I address this?

Pass Accuracy is the slider that will correct sailing inbound passes.

Other than a fantasy draft, you played this game with the sliders exactly as they are on page 1?
