      would these sliders work well if you mainly use one person on defense but play on offense, like running the auto given play?

        The Player Lock sliders can also be used for User/CPU games regardless of how you choose to play.

        If I had to rate these sliders with the Sim World roster based on where we currently stand, I'd rate them a 7/10.

        Based on where we are today with the new roster, there are a lot of changes and improvements that have been made both in the rosters and sliders that should improve some of the issues that people have had. I'll release an update as soon as I can but not until we're completely done with the editing phase of the roster.

            Has anyone tried the CPU vs CPU sliders for the PC version? I'm thinking of buying the game and using these sliders to "watch" my league. Thanks!

              yAK, just wanted to say thanks for these sliders. As a dedicated coach-mode player, this is far and away the most satisfying set I've found.

              You and the rest of the Sim-World team have put in so much hard work, I'm almost hesitant to ask for more. But you mentioned on the first page that you were thinking about writing up a Coach Mode guide for the community? I would love to read such a guide and see if I'm missing anything that could improve the coach mode experience, if you're still thinking about doing it. Either way, I really appreciate your effort and time on making this game so much better.

                I'm probably taking a long break from OS after the new roster is released but I'll consider taking up the Coach Mode guide in a week or so since we're a small community (Coach Mode) and I've always preferred working on CM related projects and helping CM gamers rather than dealing with the general gaming community.

                First things first though let me get the roster and updated sliders out.

                    UPDATE: Player Lock sliders will be coming tomorrow.

                    I'll need at least another few hours of play testing with the final roster to feel comfortable releasing those and need to get some rest for tonight. The difficulty level will still be Hall of Fame and the base for the Player Lock sliders came from the CPU/CPU set, but obviously some changes were made to counter-balance the difficulty level. I've had much more realistic and enjoyable games than I ever had on All-Star and most of the reason is related to CPU controlled teammate A.I. on the higher difficulty levels.

                      Thanks for all the hard work yak. You and the team have recreated a game that has been well worth waiting for. I think I will wait and start my association with your player lock sliders tomorrow. What's another day!

                      A coach shares all the same highs, lows, victorys and defeats as the players. He just ends up fatter and balder.

                        Great job, yAk! I'm using the CPU vs. CPU sliders for User vs. CPU games and they are awesome. I don't know how you got Hall Of Fame to feel less cheap than All Star. Thanks a lot, sir.

                          I'm kind of confused. I'm on 2k share and there are 4 different sliders. I want to play player lock and coach mode. Do I choose CPU/CPU v2 for Coach mode or the "Sim world coach mode v1"

                              After a game (mostly against the spurs backups) filled with a Bobcats gameplan of "Dribble till theres one second on the shot clock and throw up a contested jumper" and a defensive gameplan of "Under no circumstances should you put your hands above your head" heres the final, brutal, stat-line:

The first game I played with these sliders I didnt realize I was supposed to change to HoF difficulty till the 3rd Quarter, but I managed to hang fairly close with the Thunder till the 4th...does HoF difficulty amplify the differences in team talent that much? Its not very fun losing by 65, even if you expect to lose...
