If so I'd hope it is at least mostly on a weekend though. While I think the grind is ok, work kinda gets in the week of doing any major grinding. Yesterday was my only major grind day.

lol seriously tho. I'm not sure I made eye contact with anybody during the whole event. Just had the screen light on my phone flashing on my face all the time. Sh!t, I started to forget what my friends look like. I can still picture everyone in my head in the span of 2 days though, so yeah, that's why I think it shouldn't exceed that amount of time lol.

The people here with these well thought out opinions are probably better off saving it for NWGamedad. Cuz a lot of you guys make some really insightful points that I HOPE is AT LEAST considered by the devs. No diss to anyone at all, but goin in on each other about the game, won't change the game at all. We start to look like Stephen A and Skip lol. I'm sure most of you are already aware of that, so I'm not shedding any light on anything new, but sometimes I think we just need to be reminded. That's all. But hey, it's a forum, so do as you please.

99.8% of the time I'd agree wholeheartedly. The other 0.02% comes when said devs have a staff member who not only actively plays but also regularly contributes here, while admitting multiple times that he took time to "catch up" on the forum. It would be safe to assume, after the biggest event in the app's history... he'll prob at least skim the convo.

Kudos to NWGameDad for doing just that, if he does skim by this. Its a rare treat in a game and shows interest in the user opinion. It's a big part of the reason I committed to this game after leaving my old one.

When you first open up the mode you get an option of two teams and pick one. That's really about it. Only happens when rivalry event is actually happening though (and the first one just ended). Next one is presumably in 1.5 weeks (They said every other week)

I got started about a day behind, I wasn't given the opportunity to pick a team. It selected the Lakers for me.

On a side note, I would like to think that with the time I missed I would have been even closer to that number 20 rank.

thats because i think there is an initial time to select the teams and it expired before you got a chance to pick. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, I put together a decent team. lol. A fair amount of epic packs and luck have done that.

Hard to say. It was sorta weird the bottom of the top 20 actually looked kinda static to me later in the day. Think several people stopped moving. So who knows what the numbers would have been if they went 100% and use all their streaks.

I finished 26th and still had 200+ streaks saved up. I stopped playing at around 3 pm eastern because I had to go somewhere (unfortunately couldn't take my tablet with me) and I ended up coming back home at around 10 pm (took way longer than I expected). There was only a 1000 point gap between me and 20th before I left but a 4000 point gap when I came back so I didn't even try to make a run for the 20th spot. Way too late.

I stopped playing at around 3 pm eastern because I had to go somewhere (unfortunately couldn't take my tablet with me) and I ended up coming back home at around 10 pm (took way longer than I expected). There was only a 1000 point gap between me and 20th before I left but a 4000 point gap when I came back so I didn't even try to make a run for the 20th spot. Way too late.

The 10 to 20 spot people were all playing also so if u slacked u could drop from 10 to 21 in a matter of half hour or so.

The last hour the dudes outsides finally gave up (so did the guy in spot 7 who dropped all the way to 20 because he probably thought it was safe and stopped playing). That 20th spot was definetly up for grabs (300point gap) in the last hour for the dudes in the 20-25 range. But yeah u had too big of a gap.

One other note... of the people who got random rares, were there any that WEREN'T Lakers? I got Baylor, I've seen others get him, Hill, Green. Just curious.

My assumption is that if you pick the Lakers as your team and since they won you received a Lakers player base on what tier you finished in. And for those who picked Boston got something random. Which was smart by them.

ya it was ******** sitting at 15. U don't even understand how hectic it was rank 15-20 cause so many people 20-30 were pushing hard for that final spot. i honestly went to take a shower for 10 minutes and then i came back and i was sitting at 18 in a matter of minutes. and then took me 2hours just to get back to 15th. Every second counted during the last 2 hours. then i hit a few games for 5pts that i couldn't win for like 5 in a row which costed me rank drops too. worst feeling

Didn't really keep up with rivals much but all i know is if any event reward is Iverson, i might have to stock up on red bulls and call out of work for a few days straight lol.

First off, a big CONGRATS to those with that sexxay new Kobe! That took far more dedication than I would ever give to this, or probably ANY, game LOL But that Kobe was def well deserved! Also, another big congrats to those that got the other rewards; it looks like some of you made out pretty well. I claimed my Rare, which was a Laker too, so it makes the thought that only Lakers were awarded seem pretty realistic. I am not complaining though, it was the Jordan Hill that has been eluding me for so long; he was one of the few Rares I was missing from my catalog, so I am actually pretty happy with my reward!

On another note... I think you rival grinders broke the game My 4 Rares today have all had at least 150+ picks between them, with the last one being at 202 picks!!! Considering my normal average is a Rare in every 57 or so picks, today seems kind of off LOL
