True, def isn't worth it when you look at it but it's totally not that serious to me. Just something to do when I'm riding somewhere or watching tv. I could stop playing tomorrow and forget this game ever existed. If it is that serious to some people then just quit playing. Guaranteed it will make an impact and things will get changed. Just keep informing other people.

you can win foil cards from seasons! i got a foil cp3 leg from my season yesterday! Didnt know that this was possible. I can upload a pic later.

For RC, should I

A: go for top 100 and not care about w/l record and lose about 500 games in 4 days for a foil RC card.

or

B: play +3s and just get the regular non-foil RC card and maintain a decent record.

I bought 1 big pack of HS, 156, and a medium one, 75 and still had about 15 hs left after shaq was done.

Also a free player, just working the AH and getting daily RP.

Is it worth pro-ing your epics or spread them across your lineup in your season so you get to win each matches albeit faster drain? I'm trying to win just an epic season.

one of the things i've learned from playing this game since 2k14 is it's more enjoyable if you come to terms with your expectations and capability.

in 2k14 i was a completely free player. never got anything above the legendaries you could win through rttc. i put so much time and effort into grinding then i thought i'd get arthritis. however, i neglected a lot of time with friends and family to tap on my phone during events. my final lineup was composed of epics and legendaries only.

in 2k15 i started investing financially when PO tier came out to try and get to the highest rewards stage. i made it and had one of the best lineups out there, but i spent more money than i wish to admit.

for 2k16 i told myself it was just a game and would try to find a balance between the 2 previous years. i wanted a good start as i knew it would be beneficial in the auction house and seasons to stay ahead of the curve. i spent $20 on a deluxe+ foil pack and was fortunate enough to get 2 MVPs. that combined with my loyalty rewards gave me the start i needed to be where i am now. i have yet to spend any more real money on this game.

i'm hoping that 2k16 will end up being the best myteam mobile experience yet. like in real life, you'll never be happy if you keep comparing yourself to what others have. players like syd and manunyuts are at levels that many of us can't obtain with acceptable sacrifice (time and/or money). but guess what... it's ok.

the game has come a long way to try and even the playing field no matter what tier or pace you like to play in. you just have to acknowledge where you're at and come to terms with it. anyone who played 2k14 remembers being in UR/epic tier and having seasons with trucks like twista, allowing you no possible chance of winning. or in 2k15 where a common bench combined with a freely obtainable assistant manager would imbalance season matchmaking.

yes, there there are plenty of improvements to be made still, and hopefully CD implements them. but 50% of enjoying this game is your own mindset. sorry for the smartforce-style post, but i hope this gives some people a little bit more peace of mind.

Yep people really need to stop saying that free players can't get any where. I'm a free player and have a pretty good line up including some MVPs and foil RC cards and would have easily got Shaq but my phone broke so I lost 12 hours lol. You just need to put the time in and if you're not willing to do that then you need to spend money and if you don't want to do either then I don't know what you're doing playing this game.

Damn! Broken phone with 12 hours to go... I'm guessing you would have easily obtained Shaq? I had a "phone died" scenario last year with about 30 minutes left in a rival clash... thought maybe I would be good anyhow... go home and charged up just in time to watch the RC clock expire. Thank god, I was good and made my tier by a couple hundred spots... 15 minutes went by and I missed my Clash tier by 4 spots and one point... I wanted to kill someone but oh well, we move on. Sorry bout the misfortune brother.

It wasn't with 12 hours to go it was on Saturday but by the time I got it fixed I lost 12 hours. I could have got Shaq still if I sacrificed sleep but I wasn't willing to do that lol so I just settled for Kobe(got an OFF spec one which is pretty nice). But yeah if it wasn't for that I would have easily got him but next time I'll get the RTTC card so I'm not too upset.

Not sure if I'm going to go at it again next RttC like this one. I only had to spend 200 credits to refill my game nights with time waning last night, but I did drop about 60,000 RP on hot streak. Not to mention, tap tap taping all the time. I didn't really have to pay attention at all until Kobe, but never the less that's a lot of around the clock tapping. So if I'm going to go all the way again, the rewards better be good... and definitely not a freggin center. SOOOO many center resets and season rewards... please CD... I have a season reward coming in a few hours. How about an MVP SF for once?!? Anything but a PF or C please?????
