The Rivals leaderboard problem and the "account used by another device" issues are related. I just talked to the engineers and we will be bringing down the servers again tonight to fix the problems, I don't know the time yet, but I will let you know as soon as I know.
We are not planning on moving the RC event end time based on this maintenance since we thought it best that it still ends at the same time to not mess with people's schedules.
The Season games were not paused last night because of the type of maintenance they had to do. Everyone was locked out of their Seasons though so no one was able to do more work on their Seasons than others. Tonight, I am not sure Seasons will be paused or not. If you're concerned about your Season energy make sure to energize before we bring the servers down.NWGameDad

Maybe releasing updates a few days before rivals start might be a good idea

Here's an update on where we stand on the leaderboard and login issues.
Rivals Clash Leaderboards not being current
We have found the problem and it is currently being fixed. It will not require us to take the servers down at this time. However, it will take several hours for the leaderboards to accurately show the current state of the ranks. As you have seen already the leaderboards are showing updated data, but that data is hours old. It will eventually catch up, probably some time tomorrow.
Login Issues on NBA2K14 (MyGame) side of the game
If you are getting the message that your "account is being used by another device" when attempting to login to MyGame, we have a work around available to try to get logged in. We are still investigating the cause of the problem and will let you when we have it fixed.
For the workaround do the following:
1. At the Home screen, press "NBA2K14"
2. Login as normal
3. When you receive the error message, "Your account is being used by another device." Tap Ok and return to the Home menu
4. Select "MyTeamMobile"
5. If you haven't created a MyTeamMobile account, create one.
6. At the MyTeamMobile landing page, hit the Home button
7. Tap the "NBA2K14" button again
This should log you in to MyGame at that point and you can collect VC, do Pick & Win, etc.
If you are getting this error when attempting to log into MyTeamMobile, please let us know.

Another update...
Leaderboard issue - Actually it is taking a lot less time than we thought. The current board reflects the ranking as of ~2 hours ago. It will steadily improve up to the point when we bring the servers down.
Login issue - We have found the problem. The servers will be brought down at 10pm, PST to fix the issue. The outage will be several hours, but we expect it to take less time than last night.

NW, between last event's server crash on Sunday and now this, people are getting pretty fed up. I know you guys are working hard, but if this leaderboard isn't fixed by Friday then I think you could potentially lose a lot of customers. My suggestion is to either resolve the problem, or just set a milestone we need to reach to earn a certain card. You yourself said milestones were pointless because it would detract from the competition element, well the competition element is ruined if we don't have an accurate leaderboard.Last edited by bkleo504; 03-26-2014, 10:08 AM.Name: Brian

Someone in the monster forum suggested it, and you've probably already thought of it (but if you haven't), maybe consider switching this event to a milestone event if the LB isn't fixed soon. If the milestones are set properly, Cat Daddy will still see the hot streak profits as people try to hit their next milestone.
To my knowledge the leaderboard was fixed last night and is updating as frequently as previous events. I'll check with our network engineer to be sure. It would seem to be accurate right now though.NWGameDad

It's not. We have users on our forum that know it's not accurate because their scores aren't live and it's only updating like every hour or two.Name: Brian
