I'm having trouble finding the DNA scouting report?

Can somebody explain to me what screen I need to go to, in order to access the DNA report?

Just for clarrification, I'm looking for stuff like individual player tendacies....ie; drive right, drive left, shoots off the dribble, hot spots etc......

Is there any slider that will cut down on the In Air collision on layups or around the basket? Just happens way to much well the same one does.

The %'s do not necessarily factor in degree of difficulty.

Ive been playing games with the Utah Jazz, getting every player on the roster down, since I have them in a league.

Kyle Korver's "No Dribble Unguarded %" is 49%.

basically, he is a stone cold snipper in a uncontested, set shot, catch and shoot situation.

The "problem" is that ocassionally, if Im using Kyle Korver manually, through dual player control to run him off a screen, ill ocassionally be a little late pulling off of the left stick and end up shooting a drifting or fall away 22 footer, once I have him freed from the defender.

As far as the DNA is concerned, this is still a "No Dribble Unguarded" shot. If you know your shooters release, you will still drain this shot, at his DNA %

The game doesnt recognize that this is a signinficantly harder shot, then a squared up, uncontested jumper.

It translates the % the same.
Yeah I'd like to hear more as well. I'd like to hear how heat streaks (in the game) affect these players. Will they average out based on their tendency %'s or will they continue to be hot.

Players clearly go on rolls..no doubt. I was using the Jazz, and had Korver just going Ben Gordon..Scoring about 15 in a quarter..swish, swish, swish

Hey 24 did you make any global edits? I made a global edit of -40 for both agility and vertical of every player.

I'm not seeing as many contact animations because now every player is moving at a much more realistic speed.

The difference will be huge, one thing I saw more w/ these edits was when a player was off balance while I was driving.

It was much harder to see on the default ratings but now its obvious when I have a lane.

Another thing that I was able to do was get a layup/dunk up before the help D could react w/ CP3 felt so good Lol.

Re: Official NBA Live 10 Impressions Thread

After playing this game extensively over the weekend my impressions:

The base gameplay mechanics are of this game are VERY well done. Again playcalling, court spacing allow for fluid halfcourt play.

Fastbreaks are exectued well for the most part. Using the baseline high camera("Czar Cam") really helped me see the angles to the basket better. Mid-Air collisions have been reduced greatly because of this. However, there are still times of frustration when I try to move around a player who's fallen for a pump fake. Only to have him drop right back in position to trigger a contact animation.

Teams play like themselves thanks to DNA. Tony Parker was killing me off the dribble and Duncan was getting his post touches, as per S.O.P, on the left block.

Again I'll say there is no relax time when playing this game. You must be engaged for 4 quarters. Even when up by 20 points. No lead is absolutely safe. Some may say there is a "comeback A.I" logic in place. Mike has openly denounced that so I will not hold credence to it.

One of the problems with this for me is the block shots. Even with CPU block ability set to 0, I found myself shaking my head as my unimpeded layup to the basket was blocked from behind by a swooping arm at the last minute. Quite frustrating.

Rebounding while not great is much improved from last year. It doesn't feel as "scripted" as last year. Once you've boxed out your closest player, you're more than likely going to get that rebound. Again though, there were times where I had position and when I jumped for the ball it just dropped to the floor.

The animations, while the smoothest i've seen in a next gen live, still need work. I feel they lack the contextual variety neccessary for a complete sim ball experience. The exact same animation should not be triggered for relatively different scenarios. The two in particular I'm reffering to are the "Mid-Air collision" and the "Under the basket, lose ball while stumbling out of bounds" animations. Although some are down on the lack of signature driblle animations, I am quite content with those as they do not have the profound effect on gameplay that contextual ones would and do.

In order for Live to reach it's full potential, IMO, the dev team needs to expand their animation library. Now the quandry of course would be, will adding more contextual animations hinder or take away their otherwise OUTSTANDING PLAYER CONTROL AND MOMENTUM BASED MOVEMENT?

Thats why they're developers and I'm just a Hardcore B-Ball gamer...

All in all this is a HUGE step forward and IMO two years from now this game will be fully realized. I am enjoying BOTH games as this has MUCH to offer that the "other game" does not. I've never felt so engaged in a NBA simulation in quite some time.

Great job EA and keep up the good work!

it feels great to have a closer who can score in the last few minutes of a game. playing the raptors with the sixers last night in a close game, iguodala blew it wide open with 11 points in the fourth, including 7 straight for the sixers at one point as i pulled away and outscored them by 10 points in the 4th.

My only problem right now is using the left stick for freestyle passing. I thought I got it down pat, but now I'm having trouble and I'll throw it to the wrong guy or it'll lag for 1 second before it passes.
