It is kind of funny (and sad) watching the 2K basketball fans do to the Live forum exactly what the Show fans used to do to MLB 2K. They squash any possible hope from people that are actually exited about the game, killing off the desire to post here. They force fans to defend the game instead of enjoy it.
I don't mean to drag this out of the blue... but man.
Here we were last year, Live 18... and I'm going through this thread and the SAME things are applying.
Where is our complete game?
Where is the Authentic NBA experience?
Why are we watching The One get all the love, at the sake of "next year" for the NBA portion of the franchise.
We're still waiting on a complete game.
If the desire isn't to make an NBA game, then go the route of full streetball.
When I wrote my article about the State of Franchise in NBA Live, I was aggravated. It's continually ate at me, which is why I went back and read through this thread again.
I don't get why we can't get to year 3.... where is our full featured title.
Why are we continually back to square 1, or square 2?
Thought you all may enjoy reading back through some of the responses though.
Here's hoping that this is year 3?

I'll sit back and wait on the product cycle to continue on? Thus the popcorn emoji? Did I not use it right? I think it's to show you're sitting back watching everything unfold.
And am I a 2k basketball fan? Dude, I've been the biggest critic of 2k the past few years, and have constantly brought Live in a positive light. I've tried to share the positives of Live and show the SIM aspects of it, to try and garner more interest. More interest = more voices that we could use to help shape the game based on our collective voices.
This subforum gets 10 new replies per day, if that on a good day. I've tried to help get more interaction on here with pictures, videos, long posts, constructive criticisms all to garner ANY types of interaction in here. At any given time, there are 300+ users viewing 2k's forum, compared to 20-30 total here. Any type of discussion here is a good thing.
I have defended it for a great long while. I just won't "white knight" for a product, when I'm seeing the same trends that we've noticed in the past. I guess I should take a hiatus from the Live forum.Twitter - WTF_OS

It shows just how much the landscape of NBA LIVE hasn't changed. And considering you keep stalking every post WTF makes, without taking into consideration this man has sat at the table for Years and watched the Devs ignore making a "NBA" game.
The "other" Game got more buzz TODAY about a Mode that supposedly is very low concern for Modern gamers than Live got for their whole NBA Live 18 marketing campaign. Yes...WTF is one of the biggest advocates for Live around.
And he, like many of us, wants to see the game become great in all aspects. So when someone like him, or me, or anyone else who's bought every iteration since they came back, voices their problems with stagnation in certain areas, it's a valid comment.

Man there's three constants in life. Death, taxes and WTF being a good will ambassador for Live. How anybody could try to call him out as if he hates the game or something because he's voicing valid concerns is ridiculous and they clearly haven't been around this forum for any length of time at all.Comment

I feel you man. You know where I've been on this game over the years. This is the first time I'm even posting in this forum in a long while cause I reached that point a LOOONNNNNG time ago. I will say though, I didn't hate 18 and thought it was a solid step in the right direction for the series. Just too much basic stuff STILL missing that in 2018 should be standard in a sports video game.Comment

It seems that you don’t know who WTF is. This guy has been the advocate for NBA Live for years and he wants the game to be as good as it should be. He wants Live to step up the game and deliver an authentic NBA experience instead of putting all of their eggs in the basket of The One mode. Everything he’s said has been constructive and truthful because I feel the same as him. In the past, I played 2k on my Dreamcast and played Live on my PS2. NBA Live 19 is going to prove a lot of naysayers wrong. I will continue to support this series because I was one of the millions of kids that played this series and I want it to succeed in the current generation. I loved NBA Live 18 and I cannot wait for this one to come out! Almost here, baby!Comment

Spot on. Seems to be the direction of any EA Sports game not named FIFA and to be completely honest I'm beyond sick and tired of the 3 year excuses and constant change of direction & lead directors.
Dude just had a epic face palm moment and clearly doesn't know who WTF is. That generalization of 2k fans was even worse, we're all sports fans first, one good ball game isn't good enough, two good ball games would lead to both companies going hard to give us two great games which is good for all of us 🤷🏾*♂️Horseshoes & HollyWoodComment
