EA Executive: EA Manager, we should release the game now so we can get ahead from the competition and that way we can feed those hungry mobster who are itching to play NBA video games.
Mobsters: WE WANT THE GAME NOW!!! (keep repeating it for a thousand times at EA forums).
EA Developer: But sir, there are still bugs that need to be fixed.
EA Executive: As long as NBA Live can import March Madness save roster, we have nothing to worry about.
EA Developer: But sir, aside from that we still need time to polish the Franchise Mod sir as promised.
EA Executive: Release the game now and fixed the problem for NBA Live 2005.
EA Developer: Why sir?!
EA Executive: Because we only care about there money. Also we have a lot of [censored you naughty boy] who will fight, debate and kill to promote our game is better.
*1st day of release*

* 2nd day*

3rd day= EA customer service respond the e-mail saying, we are sorry for the inconvenience, wait for NBA Live 2005 because we will fixed all those problems. In fact you can start pre-ordering it now if you want. It's only a year of waiting.

Pretty good reenactment. Although typically it is not an exec, but a producer making calls about leaving bugs in games upon release. I know because that is the way it used to be at the game company I used to work for as a tester.
