pretty interesting how everybody in here says ESPN guys put down live, but I only see you guys in here do it. Everyone should try out all games to see what they like, but still how can you say ESPN is lacking when it´s been getting the best review scores? Reviews aint all that , but it sure is a good first indicator.

whattup guys...I totally agree with graphik and bigeastbumrush with their post....I enjoyed reading monkey's review. He comes from the same perspective as I ....however I disagree with his opinion on the pro-hop thing. Especially w/ mark jackson...he has been pro hopping for 30 yrs bro...and a guy who doesn't have speed like him and e-snow, and kvh use it more than you might think...watch some games and you'll definitely catch it. In the games that I have played, and I'm at about 40 overall, I see it maybe 2 or 3x a game.... I love this game. I even like the graphics. Something about em. Anyway, the more I read the more Im getting to know who are the "real" people here and not ....well, no use name callin.

You may be right on Mark Jackson, I am not sure about KVH though? I guess I can edit a few 'less physical' type guys and maybe they'll use it less? Maybe I need to work on my D alsoComment

My pleasure, I KNEW you would feel it...It takes a certain type of gamer to look past the surface and find the real gameplay moments that define a game. ID was that game last year, and Live is it for '04.

Yep and I have to add, since my post...I am enjoying it even MORE.
I am really, really in love with the fact that each game is different
I used Philly and played Utah and was able to get to the hoop and won reasonably well. Iverson and the Big Dog really cut up the Jazz. I think went straight to a game V San Antonio and it was a COMPLETELY different game.
I don't just mean I got my *** whipped by the Spurs...but that the Spurs played a whole different game and that's what caused me the trouble. They were posting up Duncan and I simply had no one to match up with him. His speed was abusing DC in the paint, so I double teamed him with Kenny Thomas also. He still scored on me a tonne...but Parker and Ginoboli used the extra room to destroy me. It FELT like I was playing the SpursConversely, the Jazz had no post up game and tried to beat me from outside with Andrei and Harpring.
It also meant, similar to ID 2003 games, I had to adapt...change my style for different teams etc. I was going to the hoop with Iverson, but Duncan was rejecting things all over and Ginobolis quicker D meant I wasn't getting good shots. Against the Jazz, I got in easily enough.
I remember one play I got around Ginoboli and Duncan stepped in and took the charge...watched it back a tonne on replay just saying "Dammmmmmmmmmmm that looks real". The mo cap really brings a whole new level to these games

Monkey, that sounds pretty good. One question I have though is can you call plays where guys run off of screens away from the ball to get open?Comment
