    Re: Freestyle vs. Isomotion

I haven't had a chance to play ESPN BBall yet, so could you guys give a little more detail on the differences and what's good on one and not the other. Saying Iso sucks doesn't really do or say much.

      Freestyle because...

      1) With IsoMotion, it's hard as hell to break your IsoMotion routine. Your guy will just dribble, and dribble, and dribble, and dribble.

      2) Freestyle isn't some out-of-the world, And1 dribbling. I like the simple dribble behind your back while bringing the ball upcourt, the simple crossover. It's nothing over-the-top.

      3) IsoMotion on Defense is there but I don't think anyone knows what the hell they're doing with it.

      4) IsoMotion's moves (button combinations) are like the moves in a fighting game
If I want to play Virtua Fighter with my Point Guard, I'll buy Virtua Fighter.

I have not tried Isomotion yet but I will say this about Freestyle.

I love standing in front of my defender once in a while and just rocking that dribble back and forth between my legs staring him down (under my control), before I make my move.

                  IsoSucktion vs Freestyle

                  Freestyle by a landslide.

Thats exactly how I felt about it too. Not only is it not better then "Freestyle", but I'd much rather have your simple crossover that was in 2k3.

I myself prefer Freestyle. Seems to be quicker in start/stop response as opposed to Isomotion.
