FF, don't get discouraged with the FT system. After you learn it, you will love it. It feels so natural. What you do is...

Pull it down fairly slowly until the ball gets to the guys ear (just like a real freethrow), and then with a fluid motion, push the stick back up a little bit faster. If it falls too short, then you know that you didn't push it back up fast enough. If it's too hard, then you pushed up too fast. You just have to make a fluid movement.

        Yeah PM.

        These would be good

***Hey*** Well These Sliders are Effective Globally .. Any Quarter Settings.. See when you adjust
          Fatigue Effect
          Subsitutions
Thats when the Quarter Minutes Settings Plays a role
I mean with Fatigue Affect at 40 or 40%. means 40%of your players health is drained during each quarter (nothing more nothing less) it will always be.. then you'll have a problem with realism.. 4 Sprints up and Down the Court i'm nearly Out of Energy.. So at 40% your player is like Lance Armstrong Playing B-ball.. too Much Stamina, not really getting tired..lol cant imagine Kobe, Allen, Shaq, Lebron.. keeping the Same level of intensity for 4 quarters.. they come in Spurts.. catch my drift? therefore 48-52 Is Ideal for that particular slider meaning 48% of his energy is depleted at the end of each quarter

Now I Personally play on 8min quarters. .due to time and house business i gotta tend to..

**Far as Shooting sliders to Me there Optional.. leave them at 50 or 50% cuz its a 50/50 thing.. but u could go 45/short 45/middle 45/long to add more realism..i wouldnt go higher than 50 or lower than 45% it'll completely miss up the game realism.. ..but shooting is a give and take depending on the release, defender assistance..and physical defense settings

Poor Shot release Percentage .........(Means if you hold the button alil too long.. how much will it affect your shot.... ) at 60 or 60% if your hanging in the air or holding the button.. your chances of hitting the shot is diminished.. just like the chances of you getting called for traveling... anything Lower.. You'll be hitting Fadeaway Hanging Jumpers From Out of Bounds with 2 Defenders in your Face

I cant seems to find these in easports.com, I just want to checked if this is accurate as you,ve mentioned...what portion of easports.com could i possibly search this thing

Re: Playmakers All-Star/Press Box Cam/Team Specific Plays

Hi guys. I'm new to NBA Live 06 (just got the game a couple days ago), but I've played the previous games in the series.

I think you've done a great job Playmaker. I'm just curious, how did you come out with this list of team plays? As another player who prefers realism, I spent a lot of time watching (and even taping) games with every NBA team, writing down the offensive plays they used. Is this what you did yourself?

I came up with a list that includes every NBA team, although it is by no means complete. Unfortunately, my list uses the play names from Live 2005 (as well as "real life" play names), and Live 06 uses different plays/play names. Can you (or anyone else who may be reading this) tell me which plays from 2005 have been renamed, removed, or replaced in 06? Also, it would be great if you could describe some of the game's plays, or tell me other names they may go by in real life.

I'm going to post the stuff that I came up with. From my limited understanding of Live 06's plays/play names, I've noticed a few discrepancies between your list and the plays I saw the teams actually using. On the other hand, you list several plays like "Rising Sun" which my untrained eyes could not pick up on, but which I know are used from reading NBA.com. We may be able to benefit by comparing notes.

Go back to the NBA Live Slider Section. I bumped up his information in regards to how the plays are ran. The thread is called, "Playmakers Play Chart For All Plays"

Question.....if I want teams to shorten there rotations and use players that can play two positions....like Lebron playing Small Forward and then playing point guard with the second team....is it a way I can edit the rosters to get the CPU to do that?

from the looks of this play its a perfect play for the computer to score on a fast break

A 3-1-1 Press makes it hard for the CPU to make the first pass inbounds. If played right you could force a turnover off the inbound's pass. The downside is that you only have one guy back to protect the basket if the ball gets past halfcourt easily.

This defense should be used if you have quick high awareness defensive players and possibly a shot blocking big man like Samuel Dalembert or Ben Wallace to protect the basket.

The only way I was able to accomplish this was by making LBJ a PG as his Primary and SF as his secondary posistion. If you go SF/PG he will rarely get any minutes playing the point because of the Cavs depth chart. They will sub in either Snow or Jones to run PG over LBJ

You could start him at SF to begin games then later on the CPU will switch him over to PG during game but he has to be listed as PG first in his primary posistion under ratings.

If need plays for the Cavs with LBJ at PG let me know I'll give you two plays that will take advantage of his skills.

Go to the 360 slider thread I created it has all the plays from Live 05 and use those plays for each team that I have listed.

                              finally i found sliders !
i've been looking everywhere, and since the nba-live.com forum is down i couldn't find any.
but there is one very important question:
is it necessary to play on all-star or can i play superstar to? and can i use another camera?
why are y'all playing all-star, is it better than superstar?

You can use them on Super Star but the shooting ranges might have to be adjusted because the CPU shoots better on the Super Star Level.
