Yeah I know I started working on sliders for other games like AFL 06, MLB 06 and NBA LIve 360 that I never really brushed up on the playbooks much after the trade deadline.

The latest changes I made were for Sactown and Indiana.

Because Artest is a different type of player than Peja he will handle the ball more and attack the rim, while Peja is more of a guy who will come off screens and shoot jumpers. The Plays that best fit's Artest and allows him to create on his own or attack the basket for Sactown would be Scorer SF or Double Back Screen and for Peja in Indiana I would add Sonic or Zipper.

Unfortunately the playbooks can't be saved on PS2 or XBOX. Only if your playing LIve on PC can this be accomplished.

The Playbooks work great and add a little more realism to the game. I've seen teams play different styles of defenses on the current system Live 06. I wish 360 Live was more like this version because playmakers really nailed this version down pretty good on both ends of the court.

Re: Playmakers All-Star/Press Box Cam/Team Specific Plays

Well since I can't play my 360 Live I played the current Live and I almost forgot how great this game plays with adjustments.

I used the Wizzards vs the Pacers and lost 86-78 on All-Star Level using 9 Minutes qtr's and Playbooks.

The Pacers leading Scorer was Peja 18 points he went 6/10 fg, 1/1-3pt and 5/5 from the FT Line in 28 minutes. O'Neal had 10 points, 5/12-fg and 8 rebounds, Jackson scored 14 points, 6/15-fg and 2/4-3pt range. Tinsley dished out 4 assist but also had 4 turnovvers in 23 minutes.

The Wizzards Arenas scored 20 points, but shot terrible 6/20-fg but went 6/6 from the FT line. Jamison had 16 points, 7/12-fg and grabbed 11 rebounds in 24 minutes, Jarvis Hayes came off the bench and scored 16 points in 12 minutes shooting 4/11-fg and 8/8 form the FT Line.

                  Team Stats

                  Rebounds
Pacers-39/Wizzards-36 (Both teams had 12 offensive boards)

                  Assist
                  Pacers-18/Wizzards-16

                  Free Throws
                  Pacers-11/14-Wizzards-20/28

The game stayed close all night. It was 40-36 at Halftime Pacers, then 62-57 after 3 qtr's.

Steven Jackson hit clutch 3-pt shot from the baseline wing with about :42 seconds left giving the Pacers a 82-76 before I had to start fouling intentionally.

I have been enjoying your sliders a lot more with the changes that you made with them Playmakers.

I've also been playing alot of the older version Live. I just missed the free-style super stars not being in the 360 version so I started back playing more of this version. My games have been really good and I just recently started using Playmakers sliders on Super Star Level now instead of All-Star. They transfered over pretty good with just minor tweaks to the CPU because they shoot much better on Super Star.

Played a game of the PC version of LIVE 06 last night...

Forgot just how much better the play sets are in that version than the xbox360 version...actual off ball movement / double back screen plays / guys catching and shooting...Seattle running screens for Ray Allen...

MUCH better than the 360 version...which has no genuine off ball movement realistically even after changes.

Frustratingly...EVERYTHING ELSE is much better in the 360 version. No sliding, way better graphics, way better arenas...everything.

If only they'd put the play sets and off ball movement of the REGULAR versions into the 360 version...

I've always prefered Press Box to see the entire court better but I'm sure there are some guy's that are using baseline low aswell.

                              couldnt agree more.
isnt it great in the xbox/ps2/pc version how teams actually run plays and generally read and anticipate human players.
the game doesnt have the stupid and unrealistic passing mechanics of the 360 where the lead pass is automatic and over used. in the non 360games the cpu will actually look to other avenues if u cut off the play. not in 360. the playbooks that playmakers implemented may actually have the motions of the play but the cpu never utilises it. instead its crazy whip crosscourt pass to a cutting wingman. thing is. u know its coming but u cant intercept like in the non 360 version. the cpu intercepts my passes. but i cant intercept its.
how do u intercept in the 360 version. the passing physics are terrible.

but again. the non 360 live plays soo much better than its next gen counterpart. its a joy to see carmello coming around a baseline screen and popping for a j. or allen and lewis utlilising the sonic play which gets them running and curling around screens and getting open for a catch and shoot.

oh well. live07 should remedy this. but knowing ea's history. another silly gameplay flaw will be implemented. they improve one area. only to detract from another.
if live 06 was a straight port of the original live 06 but with better graphics. it would be far and away the superior game to the one we have now on the 360.
                              ironic. isnt it.

I love this game. I love it even more now with the sliders and the playbooks. It makes the NBA game very realistic. I played Cleveland(me)/Detroit earlier today. The pistons kept giving it to Billups and Hamilton and they made their shots. Prince was in foul trouble the whole game. He fouled out in OT. Late in the 4th, Pistons up 103-100 with 5 seconds left. I had no timeouts. I ran it down court with Lebron. I threw up a three and it went in for the tie. I swear, I was screaming when that ball went in. We won in OT with Eric Snow finishing it off with 2 free throws for the 120-117 win in a thriller. Ilgauskus had a triple double with 32 points, 15 rebounds, and 13 blocks. He dominated the paint. Rasheed had 30 points as well. Great game. If only today's game was this good.
