I prefer press box because it allows me to see more of the court, which helps to see the plays being run for both HUMAN & CPU.

Re: Playmakers All-Star/Press Box Cam/Team Specific Plays

Yo Playmakers I've been using your sliders in Dynasty Mode and so far they seem realistic enough. I'm using the Bobcats and I've played 11/12 games and my record is 2-10. Mainly because my defense seems so nonchalant when it comes to defending the fastbreak there is almost always only 1 guy at the end of the court, the rest just slowly jog. We're allowing around 106 points per game, which isn't good. I'm assuming this has to do with their defensive awareness rating. At the beginning of the season Okeafor was averaging almost 30 points per game. It appears teams have wised up b/c his average is down and it's harder for me to get off shots with him. My team was also hurt by injuries to some key players, I put the injury frequency down from 62 to 58 hope that makes it a little better. Well that's the report so far, I'll let everyone know how the rest of the season is going. Hopefully this team suckage will stop soon.

Re: Playmakers All-Star/Press Box Cam/Team Specific Plays

I made changes to a few teams due to recent personel moves. I'll post an asterick * next to the teams that I've touched up on.

Some teams like Atlanta and Los Angeles Lakers will need adjusted aswell because of the recent moves of Lamar Odom and Joe Johnson to PG. IF you do not use those players at PG you can stick with their original Playbooks I assigned.

          Hey PM,
I have some concerns involving your sliders. Im finding a lot of fouls and stupid ones on both sides of the ball. I also feel there is an extended amount of contact with your sliders as well. Just food for thought-otherwise great sliders!!!

          Thanks,
          skilldude_2005

P.S.: When u save the following plays during the game, do they save permanantly or do you have to keep plugging them in before each game???

Test play the new set I created in the other thread or lower these Sliders:

            Shooting Foul-25
            Reach In-50 or 45
            In Air Collion-75

You can use that setup with these current sliders or test play the new set I created.

Also, if anyone follows the NBA so far this year Total team fouls have now increased up to 24+ per game so far. That's an average of 27.4 FT's per game from what I checked out. So, it depends on the individual preference if you don't like shooting close to those #'s then lower it down.

But the NBA has had a very high ratio of fouls this year being called. There were 6 teams just on saturday that shot 30+ FT's in games.

Mason should be starting soon. The plays are designed to get each teams top players involved with plays that best fit their skill.

As for Gordon I have him starting or else he won't put up big #'s or minutes when you play the CPU controlled Bulls. Hinrich is at PG .

But I arranged plays listed for 2-3 players on each team that best gets them involved as the go to guy's.

                  YES, YES, YES.

The "Free Throw" thing is a ery important part of the realistic gameplay.

As Playmakers said, the average of FTattempt is about 25-30.
And if you 'd like to play a realistic game, you 've to shoot from the free throw line. Like in a real NBA GAME !!!
Free throw shooting is a part of the basketball.
A MAIN PART of the game !

                  Peace
                  Play realistic !

I'm going to be working on those two teams this evening after work.

I watched the Lakers the other night and Smush was running the point for them. Has it changed?

When you assign high pressure on the C and PF do you do that for the other team as well?

smush may walk the ball up the court and be listed as the PG, but most of the time offensively Lamar controls the ball (alot like Pippen did back in the bulls glory days)

Ok I made changes to some teams Playbooks which will be indicated with an asteric next to the team(s).

As for the Lakers and Hawks I've adjusted their Playbooks to assist guy's who have Lamar Odom and Joe Johnson at PG. You can also stick with their original Playbooks I assigned if you have Odom at SF and Johnson at SG.
