Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I've kind of burned out playing this for a bit, lol, so I'll be taking a bit of a break, but rest assured, this is still alive.

I'm not sure when I'll get back to it. I've had thoughts now that I feel like I can maybe figure out how to effectively manage an NBA team, so I might go back to one of the NBA games. Plus, Christmas will be here soon, and I'll dive into some of the new games I'm getting.
James Naismith visited an Indiana basketball state finals game along with 15,000 screaming fans and later wrote, that while it was invented in Massachusetts, "basketball really had its origin in Indiana, which remains the center of the sport."

1 - 3 with Prairie View. Just had my best win in three years against Santa Clara in the 2Ksports Classic in Norman, Ok. We lost to ULAR first so we were playing SC in the consolation game. We are rated 64 and they were a 79. Huge win for my program.

hey guys i'm back again with another Update on my legacy with MD-Eastern Shore. Last time you heard from me i was in Year 3 fast forward about 8 years and i'm in year 11 now and MD-eastern Shore is a semi-Powerhouse(lemme explain) they are a powerhouse in they're conference but for some wierd reason i can't get them past Round two With one exception. In year 5 I won the conference for the first time with a 20-6 record and then won the tourney against NC A&T (who in which placed 2nd in the regular season conference standings). Now it's time for the NCAA tournament and i end up with a game against Dartmouth(who in which somehow went 28-3 on the year) I beat them in a shootout the score was 96-90, The funny thing about this was that their PG was out with an ACL sprain. In round two I didn't get so lucky with who i had to face:Kentucky. This is where it gets interesting their PG and SG are both injured this game and it gives me somewhat of a chance. The game itself was very Back and forth having to go to 2 OT's to settle the score I did end up winning with a final score of 101-97. Third round wasn't that interesting I got demolished by North Carolina 79-49 I couldn't make shots for the life of me this game was an utter mess. Recruiting has been solid, I can land 3 and 4* prospects consistently with a 5* here and there. Thats all i got today guys.

Is there a way to affect simmed games? Because as Vilanova we're beating good teams like Syracuse and Georgetown but all six losses we have at this point in the season are to teams like Howard and other teams under .500.

You can adjust your coaching philosophies and your player's tendencies, but if you want to have an in-game affect you'd have to do a hoopcast sim, and even then the affect is minimal.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I just got this game a month ago for the PS3 and started a career legacy with Winston-Salem St. I'm still in my first year and have like 3 or 4 weeks left in the regular season. We are 13-6, i think, with an 8-2 record in the conference. I managed to upset Kansas St. and Fresno St. I've gotten beat by Hampton, who's won 3 games all year, one against me and one against NC A&T who is tied with me at the top of the conference, and just recently got beat by Morgan St. We put up almost 78 pts a game, but give up like 72 or 73. We can't play defense for anything. I have 3 guards who can shoot the lights out and usually take turns putting up 20 or more, but don't really have anyone in the post that can do much. I have one guy who is 6'10 and one 6'8, and the rest are shorter so rebounding has been a struggle at times.

On the recruiting front, I signed one 2* SF during the in-season signing period and will sign another 2* SF once the season ends. I've got a scholarship out to a 3* PG who wasn't getting recruited by anyone until I started recruiting him and now has 2 other offers. I'm also going after a 3* PG that's a world recruit in case I don't get the other PG. It should be a fun couple years with this team with most of my players being sophomores or freshmen. I will probably leave as soon as I get a better offer, but I might stay for a 3rd year and see these sophomores through since they are the main part of my team.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

So I'm in my first year at FSU after 3 years at Maine and 4 at SDSU, including a 41-0 final season at SDSU. One of the big reasons I chose FSU over 99 rated Maryland, UNC, or staying at SDSU was because they recruited a big man that I really wanted at SDSU. Problem with this team is that there was only two big men, the recruit I wanted and another PF. It didn't really matter though because there was a SF with a high 3pt rating I was going to start at PF. He was the highest rated player on my team and seemingly a perfect fit for my system, but his ratings must have been a lie because I couldn't hit anything with him. After my second loss of the season, I benched him for the actual PF. We didn't lose a game the rest of the year and stayed at #2 behind Maryland for most of the season even though they lost 3 games and never dropped.

Went into the tourney as the top overall seed with a potential final four matchup with SDSU looming. Breezed through the first two rounds and got 5th seed Oregon in the Sweet 16. Nothing went right in this game. I averaged about 85 ppg, but 5 minutes into the 2nd half, I was down 47-27. Somehow managed to claw back and take a lead with a few minutes to go, but they went on a little run to go up 8 with a minute left. Got two steals in a row to cut it to 4 and then started to foul. They missed the front end of all 3 1 and 1 opportunities, but I could only convert once. Then they made both free throws in the double bonus and I lost by 4.

In the offseason I lost my starting PG and SF, and another PG and SF. I brought in two 5* SF and a 4* PF just out of need. So far in the next year, I have signed the #1 player in the country and the #1 PG and #5 overall player in the early signing period.

I suck at recruiting. Even at UNC all I can nab is 3 and 4 star players

Just won the regular season conference championship with a record of 16-2 and went on to beat NC A&T for the third time in the championship game of the conference tournament. We earned a number 13 seed in the NCAA Tournament with a 24-6 record and get to play Marquette in the opening round. We should be able to make it a pretty good game if we continue to play like we have and shoot the ball like we have. Pretty excited to see how we stack up against a good team.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I put up the PS4 with all it's bugs & came back to Ps3 just b/c of this game! Yes, it was hard graphically at first...but this came is so deep, it sucked me back in.

Picked up where I'd left off with UC-Davis. first 4 years went 14-15, 15-16 (Won Conference tourney. Lost in first round of NCAA'S), 18-13 (1st Rd), and 21-10 (1st rd). Year 5 is when things started to get interesting. I had a team of 7 Juniors & a stud Soph. C. Made it to the FF, where I met Arizona. This was a wild one! (One of the most high scoring games I've ever played! I play on All-American using Auburn Alumni's sliders). Both teams were running & Gunning and on fire! I controlled the entire game until the last 4 minutes. Up 7, all of a sudden the wheels fell off! 'Zona tied the game with 6 secs left. I had a shot to win it but my SF missed a 15 ft jumper! UGGHHHH. I knew momentum had slipped away! 'Zona couldn't miss in OT. The final score was 115-112. I was heart-broke after that loss!

The Next Season, I had my entire team back. Opened up the year actually ranked #11. PG - 77, SG - 75, SF - 78, PF - 72, C - 83. All where SR's except for my JR Center. I loaded up on the schedule. Played at Gonzaga, at Arizona (In a NC rematch), at Duke, at Cal, and in a Preseason Tourney. This team had unbelievable Chemistry! We ran rough shod thru the Season. Only losses were at Arizona & Duke. Got back to the FF. Beat Texas A&M by 3. And then beat North Carolina by 6 to win it all! Definitely one of the most fun seasons I've ever played! When it ended, I knew my team would be gutted by graduation and figured my C would leave too. (He was the only player on my team projected to make it to the Pro's and he was a Projected Lottery pick). The Arkansas Job opened and I'd already said to myself that I'd only leave for Arky, Cincy, or Xavier. However, my C stunned me! He decided to return for his SR Yr! I didn't have the heart to leave after he decided to stay - So at least 1 more year at UC-Davis.

I have all freshmen (Rated between 66-72) and a Stud C rated an 86! It will be an interesting year. Man, I love this game!!!

Congrats on the NC at UC-Davis! You will have to feed that senior center all game long since he is surrounded by freshmen.

I hate to leave UC-Davis but the Big West Conference Schedule is so weak. I've loaded up out of conference again. @ UNC, @ Arizona, @ Gonzaga, @ Cal, and @ Syracuse. However, I am a combined 32-0 the last 2 seasons in conference. The sliders I use are very challenging for my skill level. Never know what kind of game you'll get. (Best Sliders I've ever used in any sports game!)

After this year, should I stay at UC-Davis or move up?? (Of course, with all these freshman, I may take my lumps this year).

Started up a new save around the end of December of 2012 , so I've been playing on and off for a year already . Started up my career at UCA (Central Arkansas)
I do play all my games fyi

                                07-08 13 wins 13 losses
                                08-09 18 13
                                09-10 21 9 NIT
                                10-11 25 5 NCAA First Round

Took them to their first ever tourney game my final season after Bradley Beal decided to transfer to my school (loved playing with him). Scottie Pippen should be proud of UCA.

After 4 years and a Tournament appearance it was time to move on... here I come Detroit!
Detroit Titans was my mid major team and boy they did not disappoint.

                                11-12 20 Wins 10 losses NIT
                                12-13 22 10 NCAA First Round
                                13-14 31 3 Sweet Sixteen
                                14-15 31 2 Sweet Sixteen
15-16 34 2 NCAA Champions (My first ever since the game came out)
                                16-17 33 1 Second Round

Probably the easiest job I've ever had . Horizon coaches could NOT recruit at all, I don't think I ever saw a Horizon team rated above 81 after I completed my first year there. After the 2012 - 2013 season finished I was able to pick up 3 5* star players that wound up being my main nucleus of my team for the glorious years to come. I tried leaving after the National title season but no big schools fired their coaches, I was just bored of blowing up all my conference foes.

I was stuck with a lot of FR and SO my last season at Detroit but I still had my All American PF and rode him all the way to the Second round were we lost to a tough Oklahoma St team. Said goodbye to Detroit as I knew that was probably my last game coaching for them and took over at Tennessee after Bruce Pearl got fired after the 2016-2017 season after not making the Tourney since 2011.

So here I am currently at my first year at Tennessee currently rated at 83.

                                17-18 6 wins 15 losses

                                255 wins
                                83 losses
                                1 championship
                                8 regular season championships
                                6 time conference tournament champions
6 trips to the NCAA tournament
                                3 Sweet Sixteens
                                1 Final Four
                                8 20 win seasons
6 time conference coach of the year
                                13 All conference players
                                2 All American players

LOVE this game, I started playing again about a week ago and totally hooked again. My PS4 just looks at me all confused lol.

OH Yeah I just played LSU and got blasted 79 - 46. They had a Kevin Durant "type" player

SICK player. He scored 15 points in the first half and did not come back in the second half as his team was destroying mine.
