Does anyone else actually play/watch the midnight madness games? I recently started doing that to get more immersion from the game. How do you guys setup your games? Random lines ups, underclassmen vs upperclassmen?

I do the latter, this year I basically had a whole freshman team, except for one guy, and that was just for size. But I usually do fresh/soph vs the jr/sr's

I usually try and even out the teams as best as I can. I'm not sure if you or anyone else has noticed, but in past dynasties I've played I noticed that players can improve from good performances in that game. Obviously it isn't anything drastic, but it does happen.

I definitely play those games, but I never thought about the way you do it. I usually do starters against the backups.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Started up a new St. Francis (PA) Red Flash legacy after i accidentally saved over my 3 year legacy from last season at Charleston Southern.

I was a little up in the air about starting with them because they start out with only 3 Forwards and about 8 guards. I started out 0-5 losing some close games to American, Penn State, and La Salle. I then switched how i planned on playing defense. I now control the center in a 2-3 zone and am on a 4 game winning streak.

Recruiting has gone kind of 50/50. Im able to draw interest from some solid PA/NY kids but they end up going elsewhere in the early signing period. As is expected in my first year. However, i just recently found a 3* PW that is basically un-recruited through the first month and a half and i jumped on him. I only have one scholly to offer which is also a killer in recruiting. So i need to use it wisely.

So right now i sit at 4-5 and just starting conference play.

here's the latest im in year three and it turns out that that 3* player i was recruiting was a total monster had 85 3pt and get this 90 ball handling which is quite amazing the guy comes out to be a 73 OVR which i kind of needed to be honest. I also was able to snag a 3* international PG who ended up at a 68 OVR which isn't bad if you think about it I'm going into conference play at 6-2 with losses to UNLV(ranked#24) and Marquette at the buzzer(ranked #15). I was able to pull off two upsets though one against Wisconsin(ranked#10 when i beat them) and just this last game i managed to somehow pull off an upset against Gonzaga(suprisingly ranked #2 last game now they dropped to #8) first conference game is against NC A&T last year's game was a nightmare lost 104-79

I started a open career with Villanova but only played one game so far. Also, I want to do a open legacy with a powerhouse team, but I don't want a SEC or ACC team. Any suggestions?

Back again with a restarted career.

Starting with NC A&T. Using all plays playbook, and all man2man defense, desperation pressing, and the sliders are all at 50, CPU/CPU, all American, 16 minute halves.

One really great 3-point specialist. Squeaked out a win against St. Louis, upset #14 Pitt, fell @ DePaul. #4 Tennessee up next.

What is at risk if I have both of my recruiting priorities set to "size"? Will my ACs only scout and target PF and C, or will they follow what the team needs? Should I change one up?

And do certain recruiting priorities help find more diamond in the rough for big schools and little schools alike?

A dominating effort in Knoxville gives NC A&T an upset victory over #5 Tennessee! Their top scorer played injured, and was held to 10 on bad shooting. The final was 87-70.

Up next, a brief look into conference play.

Forgot about Michigan State. I think that's who I will roll with. I like to use big schools because I'm not good enough to beat teams using smaller schools like the ones in career legacy.

Simmed rest of first year, finished 16-13, lost conference tourney championship, not good enough for tourney. Simmed 2nd year, and it went bad.... 10-17 or 18....

Got a mid-major job offer from UALR. They were coming off of a 10-18 year...actually recruited decent. A nice junior transferred from Michigan. Year 1 there, same old 10-18. Year 2 is looking better. I went away from my usual cutting everyone but the ten best. Now I'm back to that, and recruiting by size and shooting. Two players nearly 80-overall this year. Lets make a tourney run?

As coach, I'm A- in both charisma and teaching. I'm kind of in the mix of only watching games when I join a major conference.
