Just today, I got the urge to play some College Hoops since basketball season is starting in a week. I've been out of town since Friday and just got back Sunday afternoon and haven't played any yet, but I'm off work Monday for Columbus Day so I'll probably put in some CHoops time. Just haven't decided if I want to start a new legacy or continue my old one...

That sure was a hell of a championship game this year, even if it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to (I'm assuming you're a Kansas fan with that username, so forgive me if I'm wrong).

Anyway, I went and started a new legacy. I'm trying something totally new in how I'm playing the game.

i've never been a huge basketball game fan but when i saw nba2k9 previews and what not i decided i was going to buy it...then i realized there was no college 2k9 game. i hate playin a pro game without draft classes so i went to the local gamestop and bought both nba and ch 2k8 for a grand total of $40. i wanted to start an nba association of whatever but realized i had to have the draft class first so i started a ch legacy and before i know it i'm hooked. i've nearly put an entire season away in a week. i love this game!

I will be making a return to this game sooner then later. My question is, is there a good roster file out there for this year's teams? Something pretty non-biased that most would agree with? I figure some fanatical fan took the time to update all the rosters but maybe not.

I think I may fire this game back up tonight after letting it rest for a month. I'm excited!!!

I also may get some ESPN College Hoops 2K4 in as well; though 2K8 is the better game, I still can't keep myself away from playing a few games of good 'ole 2K4 with Mike Patrick and Jay Bilas along with the beautiful ESPN presentation. I think it beats out ESPN NFL 2K5 in overall atmosphere. It's gameplay isn't very good, but it makes up for it in other ways.

Now if you could combine 2K8's graphics and gameplay with 2K4's presentation, I would be in absolute gaming bliss for years to come!!!

Either way, I'm quite satisfied with both games as it is and can't wait to resume year six of my coaching career in 2K8 (dynasty thread in my signature) and my WVU legacy on 2K4.

Man, I got my Florida Gators ranked #1 in the 3rd season of my dynasty and I feel like if I win a National Title, I should move on. But I just pulled in the first 5* recruit (#1 overall) in my CHoops career so I feel I owe it to myself to play with him. Maybe I'll just absolutely stack my OOC schedule to really keep myself challenged all season.

I'm gonna keep playing on my closed legacy with Charleston Southern, but I will definitely be firing up a new Auburn dynasty when the updated rosters are released by DCAllAmerican.

I am too. While I'm sad the series is gone it went out with a bang. I can fire up 2k8 this bball season w/ roster updates and see myself being very happy. On the bright side I'll have an extra 60 for one of the great games that are coming out non-sports.

I'm definitely sticking to 2k8. I tried NBA2k9 and resold it. I just can't take the camera angles and the lag online. Meh.

Having a blast with this game. In my second season with North Florida and I played a thriller of an overtime game last night and came out with the win. Before overtime started Jacksonville U drove into the paint for the game winning attempt and my point guard stole the ball to force overtime. Updated rosters don't concern me since I'm running with a very small school to start with. By the time I hit a big time program it will probably be another 4-5 seasons down the road. Diggin this game a lot. Also think its awesome that you can't master everything in this game right away. Just starting to work on different moves right now and knowing each of my players strengths is really helping out. I'm so attached to my team right now that its going to be hard to leave if I ever get that call.
