    KOBE STILL "SELFISH!?"...

just watch the game (NBA League Pass!) and this guy is passong the ball around tryin' to get his 10 assist to give him a triple double. the Lakers were down by 14 with 6 minutes to go, and instead of getting his shots he's tryin' to pass and get the assist. WTF! if he wants to be the man, he's got to do what it takes to get his team the win. Ricky Davis was in his shorts the whole game. D.Miles was getting a piece of him as well...
I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...

Two straight triple doubles proved his unselfishness, and tonight against cleveland proved why he needs to be selfish. The laker coaching staff needs to worry about coaching the other players and let Kobe be Kobe. You don't see Doc Rivers talking bad about T Mac do ya?

Yeah, because when the coaching staff got on Kobe, he unleashed back-to-back triple doubles. God forbid the coaching staff ever get on him again. Wouldn't want any more triple doubles.

With the way the team was shooting today, I'll be happy with a double double lot's of points and lot's of rebounds. This years mvp Kobe Bryant!!!!

i guess this much scrutiny is to be expected when we're talking about the best player in the NBA. But anyways, people need to stop over-analyzing things. Kobe is doing all he can with a very handicapped team, when Shaq and Fox get back, everything will be back to normal.

              T-Mac the last 2 games:

              47 pts, 6 boards, 7 dimes
              41 pts, 8 boards, 7 dimes

How can anyone claim anyone other than JKidd is the ebst player in the NBA? When is the last time Kobe or TMac made anyone around them better? Hell, I could reach Pippen status if I was paired alongside JKidd.

kobe shoots to much, he's a ballhog, kobe passes to much, he's just tryin to get his stats up, whats next, he's getting to many rebounds, when will you guys give him his due. Like already stated, he's playing handicap. He's doing all he can do. He's the best in the league.

                    Just for comparisons...

I don't really believe Kobe is the best player in the NBA...
He could be "one" of the "best"!

He still has to show a lot of people...
Let's go back to Jordan when he emerged as "The Best"!

I don't think their was so much scrutiny behind people saying Yeah MJ is "The Best" plyr in the NBA!

Exactly. T-mac is the best player in the league, period. As for Kidd, I agree about his undeniable value Will. Besides Shaq, If I was gonna start a team, Kidd would be the guy. However, in terms of pure skill and talent T-mac is the best, IMO.

So, we have all the Lakers fans saying Kobe is the best, and all the fans of other teams split on everyone except Shaq or Kobe. Hmmm. Makes for interesting debate.

Comparing Jason Kidd to Kobe Bryant is absolutely ridiculous! T-Mac yes (he's close), but not Kidd. I love J.Kidd as a player but the guy can't shoot and that will forever prevent him from being considered the best player in the NBA.

There's no debate. Shaq and Kobe are 1 and 2 in the league, the order can change on any given night. That's why the Lakers have won 3 titles in a row and will make it 4.

Stupid me. I've grown up thinking there's more to basketball than shooting. You know, like that whole passing, defense, rebounding, teamwork, leadership, making your teammates better, controlling the game tempo, etc. But I guess it's all cross overs and pull up jumpers.

But you are right. Comparing Kobe Bryant and Jason Kidd is absolutely ridiculous. There's absolutely no comparison.

And the Lakers have won three straight titles because Shaq is 50 pounds heavier than his nearest competitor. Honestly, make Shaq 7'0", 285 pounds and then we'll see what happens. You can't even tell me you could rely on Shaq's little jump hook from outside 5 feet. It's pathetic. He pushes his way under the hoop and dunks it or shoots the 3 foot hook. Routinely. And he gets away with it. THAT'S why they've won three straight championships. Because Shaq is given the same leeway that Jordan was given.
