    Re: Nash wins MVP

No arguement here...its sad tho...J Kidd was the best Point in the L when Duncan won that MVP (4got wht year) and got wasnt recognized @ all...now heres Nash doing what Kidd did for the Nets 3-4 years ago and hes winning MVP for it. I would be highly upset if I was J Kidd...but Nash deserved it...Im not against him winning it...

I dont have a problem with him winning it. The suns lost a lot of players in the off season, no stoudamire and the suns still ended up winning a lot of games clinching the #2 seed in the west.

                  Who cares about an outcry.

This man helped scrubs have career years and carried a team who lost ALOT over the summer without a significant dropoff.

I had Nash and Lebron as my top 2 players to win it, but it didnt matter either way.

I know some people will hate on Nash and say the voting is weak because their player didnt get picked, but the truth is, Steve Nash had just as strong a case as anyone else.
I completly agree with everything you said, including it being a coinflip b/w him and Lebron

                  Congratulations Nash!

Man, this is crap. Nash has got to be the worst two time winner in the history of the game! I mean legends have won it twice, people like Jordan and Wilt. This is just unbelievable. Since when did they start handing out MVP awards based on expectations?

I am so sick of hearing people whine about this. Yes, he is the worst two-time award winner, and placed in history it looks bad. And yes, Jason Kidd should have gotten one as well.

However, this award is about THIS YEAR. It is not about past screwjobs, and its not about what legends won it in the past. It's not to be placed in the context of history, but in the context of the 2005-2006 NBA season. And this year, Nash was the best player, survived a roster overhaul, imporved his already great game, rallied a group of scrubs and clinched his division.

People need to quit being so emotional, like its a slap in the face that Nash took it.

So we don't give the award to the guy that had an amazing year just because he won it last year? Give me a break. I had it like most people on the board, a coinflip between Nash and Lebron. Congrats to Nash.

He really deserved it, as i've said previously he's the straw that stirs the drink in PHX. Actually, if you look back at his career he probably should've recieved MVP consideration in his last couple years with Dallas as well.

It's great that the NBA media can look past the gaudy offensive numbers and give props to someone who has probably the most well rounded game in the NBA.

I'm sure many Americans are bitter tho!

No problem with Nash winning. He's a great point guard. I don't think there will be much of an outcry, this time. Fans probably payed more attention to Nash after he won last year. Now, past detracters may realize how much does for his team.
