Amare would not be an allstar (yet) without Nash, and Marion would be borderline and would not have made it this year if Nash wasn't there. And stat friendly system, I'm so sick of hearing this, Nash is the system, that's why noone else does it as good as the Suns. The reason? Nash.

Re: All-Star reserves
Am I still making Millions? Cause I think that would be more than enough, lol you act like these guys are teachers or doctors, all they do is play a game. And I'm sure every player in the NBA gets far more recognition than any ordinary person. What a useless point you tried to make.Comment

Re: All-Star reserves
Wow @ all the whining over Josh Howard not making the all-star team.....Hell, Ray Allen and Melo(even though he's an idiot) both woulda made it over him.....Hell, Okur might've made it over him, lol.....
But I don't agree that the all-star game is not big of a deal....The game itself isn't that big a deal but when a players career is over, yes we look at how many rings he has but we also look at how many times he was an all-star, on the all-nba team, led the league in scoring, defensive player of the year, etc, etc, blah, blah.....Comment

Re: All-Star reserves
the only thing im mad bout the all star game is why the hell is shaq in there if he only played 5 games this season and he did bad.. this is more of a popularity contest to me.... eddy curry shouldve taken his place cuz he played great basketball this season... but they dont want to do that because who would you rather watch in the all star game... shaq or curry????easy answer.... it has alot to do with business... the all star rosters they have now will be the same for the next 6 years or so, so ppl should get used to thisComment

Re: All-Star reserves
Dallas is the western conference champs and had the best record in the first half this year, yet they have only one all-star
yet the team they have scoreboard on who happens to have the 2 time MVP (because his supporting cast is supposedly lacking) has 3 allstars and the other top team in the west in the Spurs has two. You cant tell me those teams didnt get their respect in all-star voting because of their records over this season and last season. otherwise, Allen or Melo would have gotten in over Parker and/or Amare.
excuse the hell out of Mavs fans to be upset that we have only one all-star yet again. I think the Mavs have played at a level to warrant some respect when it comes to **** like all-star games, awards and crap like that.Comment

Re: All-Star reserves
No, Vince. I'm saying since he's injured, you put Howard in his place. No way I'd take off Boozer if he was ready to go. Dude's having an amazing season.Comment
