because apart from that, there is no case.
LOL have you been following the NBA this year? go watch some tennis or something.

you even mentioned yourself that carmelo should be in. definitely over tp and thus over any mav player who's not on the roster.
Josh Howard deserves to be in.

over who? again, apart from Tony Parker there is no case and even that is debatable. everyone on that team has a right to be there. i'd think they'd like to have at least 2 natural point guards with none that are starting in the asg.

anyway, yao won't play so maybe a mav player can be inserted in to stop the bleeding.

        geez.

And before you edited, I was half thinking what you just stated.
the Mavs should have more than one all-star this year. Josh Howard should have been in.

Magic Johnson has said the same thing tonight. So did Charles Barkley.

            ZB9,

All you do is whine, complain, and crusade for the Mavs. I know everyone does that with their favorite teams (I do it with the Rockets), and it's cool if you think that your guys deserve some love, but you take homerism to a whole new level. You make it sound like it's some kind of tragedy that Marion was chosen over Howard, or that it will be some huge catastrophe if Nash wins MVP.

            It's not that serious man.

I honestly believe without Nash, Marion and Amare wouldn't be all stars. I think he elevates their game that much. Marion would be a border line guy, and Amare would not be the same player we have seen him become without Nash getting him those easy buckets. He'd be a Dwight Howard type, tons of potential but just not there yet.

Did you watch the Suns with Marbury. Marion is almost the same player.

Didn't Amare win ROY his 1st year with Marbs?

Howard will be an all star, maybe just not this year.

                          AGREED.

                          I don't see who you'd take off.

The east is another story though, with the two pistons making it.

Yeah Marion would be a borderline guy, who could go both ways, you could argue him for an all star spot or you could accept if he didn't make it, and Amare is a very good young big, BUT Nash has made him look better than he is, you can see it when Nash isn't on the court with him, he's still very limited in what he does.

Before Nash, without checking, I think Marion's numbers were the same if not a bit higher in PPG.

Exactly he put up good numbers on a BAD Suns team, when he's is still putting up good numbers on a great Suns team you have to realize it's more because of Nash than Marion. Which is why Marion is a border line type guy.
