I'm baffled by your post and incessant use of graemlins. but anyways, i'll keep it sophisticated. The Lakers will be the favorite come playoff time, both fans and non fans know this. That's what comes with being 3 time champs.

classic stuff. Anywho..... let's try to stay on topic, and not take up space by posting the same graemlin 50 times.

Of course the Lakers are the favorites to win it...everyone knows they are. Honestly, I think, all they need is the 8th spot and that 4th ring is coming back to LA...they already proved last year that they didn't need homecourt advantage in the playoffs to win again...GO LAKERS!

What is the lowest seed to win it all? Has an 8 ever done it?

No. The closet was the Knicks in 99 where they lost in the Finals. The lowest seed to win a championship was the Rockets in 95 when they swept the Magic.

Well, I am neutral and it's pretty clear Sacramento are the favourites.

They were the better team last year and have added Clark and Jackson.

LA aren't as strong as they were. Even the current run has had a bit of luck, catching Indy without Artest and the Kings without Webber and co.

They just don't look as good as they did. Even if they do make it all the way back, they actually will need to be BETTER than they were to win it this time.

It will be interesting to have them there and the match up's will be great in the first round.

As I've said before I like the Lakers a lot, but the Kings will be the favorites if Bibby, Jackson, Webber, Divac, Stoyackvic sp are all healthy. The Lakers would only be the favorites due to the fact they are the 3 time champs, but still Sac has looked much better, but I'll agree it's the playoffs that count.

The Lakers this year remind me of the Ravens from 2001 too cocky, they think they can through the regular season and then just coast through the playoffs, but it doesn't work like that. The Lakers better come to play in the playoffs, if they even make them, or the Kings will kill them.
