He'd take it now. #2 MJ only passed those shots after he had made them dozens of times. Now is the time LeBron needs to take those shots. Throw the dagger at teams and build the body of work.... then that pass off is more justified. LeBron has shown little to no willingness to take that shot.
Disagree. LeBron has a weak jumper. Last night, he had an opportunity to score at the basket...but there was a stretch in the season where he tried to go all Rambo on last-second looks and looked pretty pitiful. I do not want LeBron trying to take bad shots in traffic just to identify with Larry Bird and MJ...two guys who didn't have to deal with 5-man shifts on defense. Mj had to beat his guy, and 2 other guys crashing over...not 5 defenders allowed to camp in his vicinity we have now. I want LeBron to make the smart play, and taking Kobe-like shots with defenders draped over him is not the answer. Last night, taking the layup would have been the smart play.

Have a little dignity kid. Jeez.
Mike Brown is always flailing, stomping, and screaming because this team barely listens to him. If you pay attention, he does the same thing during our offense. Doubt he's trying to distract our shooters too...lol.

    2 points. 1-4 shooting

Yeah, you're right...he was full of something, but I wouldn't call it confidence.

San Antonio just looks so much better than Utah. I thought tonight's game would be more competitive. It's only an 11 point lead, but this is the Spurs after all. They are too experienced to let up.

The Jazz defense looks horrible again, Utah better pick it up now or at the very least when they return to Utah or this series wont even make it back to San Antonio.

EDIT- If the Spurs score here to go into the half up 19-20 points then this game is over already, Spurs will have 100% of the momentum.

It looks like a Detroit VS San Antonio matchup in the finals this year. If I am right, it will be a great series. One of the best matchups in the history of the NBA.

                  What are you smoking?

The 2004 version got some of the lowest final ratings ever.

TV ratings have nothing to do with whether the series will be good or not, all it means is there wasnt enough star power or drama to draw in the casual fans who watched when it was players like Jordan or Magic in the finals.

Utah is an excellent team...but they're at least one season, likely two, away from beating San Antonio.

Cleveland needs a Michael Finley. Someone who can absolutely knock down the shots from the outside w/ no thought involved. The guys can flat out shoot. You absolutely can't leave him open. Put him on the same side of the floor as Z... no double... let LBJ drive the other side of the lane... help comes... Z flashes 15', Finley slides to the wing. Defender comes to help w/ Z, rotates the ball to Finley, wide open. Or, LBJ w/ the skip pass to the open Finley or takes it to the hole.

That is the type of player we need to go after this summer.

Surprised Flopoverme didn't fall on that three point attempt to try and get a foul call.

I don't think it would be like, a Lakers/Celtics matchup...but I definitely think it would be MUCH better than the 2005 edition with the home team blowing the other team away in the first four games.

Still a long way to go though.
