No.
Spurs win was never in doubt.
I hope the Cavs can win this...but I honestly can't see it.
IMO this is the best team in the NBA playing about the 5th ir 6th best team.
The real title series was SA v Phoenix. I said that at the time.
Would love to be proven wrong though...but this series, to me, looks as lopsided as LA v Philly.Comment

Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
I dont have the energy to read through the last 20+ pages but tonights game was a huge letdown. Lets see here, I think I read someone talking about Lebron needs to drive the lane more and put the Spurs frontline in foul trouble, well that isnt going to happen, after seeing Lebron bounce off of Oberto and lose the ball with no call, I can see how this series will go when in San Antonio. Im no Cleveland fan, more someone who cant stand the way the Spurs play the game, we got to see Manu nearly dive into the front row there to sell that bogus flagrant, whatever happened to a hard foul to stop a layup? It seems there is a real thin line between a hard foul to stop a layup and a foul that includes unnecessary contact, how is it deemed unnecessary though? Yet again, the refs are horrible, saw Verajao step in and take more legitimate contact tonight then ever before but 50% of the time it was a no call, how can it be a no call? Either call a block or a charge, pull the whistle out and make the call for gods sake. Oberto didnt seem to flop like normal, Duncan was his normal solid self and Parker couldnt be contained but Cleveland killed themselves and should still feel confident going into the next game.
On a side note, Cleveland needs to cut back on fronting Duncan, when they do the shot goes up and Duncan has inside position right off the bat leading to far too many offensive rebounds for the Spurs. Lebron needs to be more aggressive, Z needs more touches in the post and if Hughes is suffering as much as he appeard to tonight they need Gibson in there to match up better with Parker. Cant wait for game 2 Sunday.Comment

How is it torture? They made the Finals and it's still the best thing that happened to them in the past decade.
Same with The Cavs. If they do lose this, it's still a great achievment.Comment

It's still torture for them, lol. Since 1993 the Phillies, Flyers, Sixers and Eagles have all made their respective championship series/game, and, well.....yeah.

Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
To be honest, it was one of those situations where the game was not as close as the score indicated. The Cavs didn't play their best game, but neither did the Spurs and they still were in control throughout. I agree with the person who said both these teams can get in droughts but SA is more apt to come out of it that CLE. They got 3 guys who make their own shots plus a lot more compitent shooters to kick it out to, meaning when the drought starts to happen, I like their chances of getting out of it and back into control far more than the Cavs. The Cavs' A-game is not on the same level as the Spurs/
I know you guys think you get no respect but well, that's just how the cookie crumbles sometimes. If it helps, I don't feel like the Pistons would have fared any better with their current lineup.PS: You guys are great.

This series will show just how overrated the Pistons were by the eastern media.
This matchup isn't even fair. It's like Florida versus Northwestern State in the first round of the tournament.
I don't think the Spurs even broke a sweat.Comment

The Mavs were bounced in round 1 so all you have is trolling the NBA forums for a response huh?Comment
