Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
So...this is another mentor vs mentee matchup...only this time...not only because I am a Cavs fan...but I think the mentee will take this one...people dont realize...Danny Ferry bought some key pieces over from the Spurs orginization over to the Cavs. The Assistant Coach is now our Head Coach...and a couple of other people who made the Spurs what they are today. Mike Brown might not be the smartest but Pop didnt teach him EVERYTHING he knows about coaching and defense...he also coached under Rick Carlilse or however u spell his name lol...but I think Mike Brown knows way more about the Spurs system then the Spurs know about Mike Browns system. Its not a case where Don Nelson taught Avery everything he knows about coaching and actually watched him takeover games coaching and knowing his strategies...but...well see how this all plays out...Cavs in 6Comment

I hope the Spurs sweep these guys. I'm sick of all the LeBron slurping that's going. Spurs will win in 6,because I'm thinking the same thing Bill Simmons seems to be thinking.
"We'd even be headed for a sweep if not for the NBA's old "shaky referee trick," in which the league sends three of its shakier referees to Games 3 and 4 -- you know, the ones likely to be influenced by Cleveland's crowd -- to avoid an embarrassing four-and-out by fouling out Duncan and sending LeBron to the charity stripe between 17 and 87 times. That's a mortal lock."Comment

You all honestly don't think the Cavs can beat the Spurs by themselves?
I'm glad you have confidence in your team, but be realistic guys. This team is in the finals for a reason. That reason isn't "because the NBA has sent their shakier refs out in games 3 and 4"... that's sheer ignorance.
If the Cavs get swept, then I'll be the first to admit that it was because the Spurs beat them... I'd hope that the fans of the other team could do the same. But alas... no respect.Twitter - WTF_OS

Cant live in a world where the spurs win again? What are you going to do by this time next week if the Spurs are up 3-0 and are in a closeout situation.Comment

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Spurs in 6. IMO I don't think the Cavs would be any better than a 4 or 5 seed in the west. If the Spurs don't win this series I would be very very surprised."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail.
