    Exactly... Pretty sad that we're still 30 minutes from tipoff, and their respective fans aren't giving Cleveland any respect, AND, are making excuses for "if" the Spurs lose a game.

            The attention LeBron has been getting the past 2 weeks is absolutely disgusting. Newsflash to the media: There ARE other players competing in the NBA finals. This is a TEAM sport. Gibson got some props for about 15 minutes after Game 7...then LeBron gladly took in all the attention he could get. He needs to stand up and tell the media that its a team game and how much his teammates have helped him get this far. Guess hes waiting until Cleveland gets spanked to mention them....

            edit: not really serious about LeBron blaming teammates or anything, he handles the media well and he wouldn't say something like that. If and when Cleveland gets spanked I expect him to take the blame. Im just sick of hearing about him. Because even when Cleveland loses, I know after a day or two the stories will just revert back to LeBron and how he has one finals appearance under his belt now

                And to all the rest of you....it was a statement in terms of you people measuring success in championships and now crowning James even though he hasn't won said championship yet. Stats don't mean anything until you win a championship, which is what a lot of you people have said over the years. Whatever though, in reality, I honestly don't give a damn about what some half-baked Boston Red Sox homer said about LeBron. Was just trying to play Devil's Advocate.

                    What in the hell are you talking about? Honestly... do you even watch the interviews w/ Lebron? He is CONSTANTLY giving praise to all of his teammates, and telling the reporters that it's a team game, and that he gives the credit to his teammates.

                    Do you watch them? Or are you just making a blind assumption?

                                He also has the same amount of Finals apperances as Dirk... and 1 more the past two MVPs. He has avg like 22 8 rebs and 8 assits in the playoffs on a mediacore squad at best and he now has as many Finals apperances as the reigning MVP and one more than the last 2 MVPS before that. He also has gone futher in the Playoffs than TMac and Kobe minus Shaq... So now that I got that covered what else does he need to accomplish

                                        Also, I am quickly growing tired of the whining and bickering going on in this thread. It would be a shame to have to lock the Official Playoffs Thread while the Finals are going on. Play nice, people.
