Well, the Lakers will definitely be talking to KG in the off season... that would help alot!

White went to Detroit at 7 I think...and was a massive bust.

I agree MJ isn't any worse than most of them...and hopefully he gets better...

He was killing everyone in tryouts and games they held before the draft.

I agree he screwed up, mainly because Chicago offered him Elton Brand for the #1 pick and he refused.

Kwame would go on to have a great game once in awhile but nothing more..

When he wasn't on the floor they were missing shots and not playing defense.

If the team was actually hitting shots and getting to the rim and playing with a little bit of fire we might actually be in this game. Missing shots and not hitting the boards make it impossible to stop the suns because their fastbreak offense is absolutely sick.

Luke Walton hasn't been the same since his injury, what little athleticism he's had left him then.

Smush isn't getting any PT since he's in Phil's doghouse.

Some people are gonna want to put this first half on Kobe but he has passed the ball and only taken 8 shots in the first half. Guys just aren't hitting shots and this team doesn't have the horses to get back on D.

The team just doesn't have it. 12-35; 20 rebs; and 5 assists from the supporting cast just won't cut it.

Last game KB ran out of steam and shot us out. This game we just look like a JV squad

They just look terrible all around, standing there letting people blow right by them, standing there letting people get rebounds, letting people get WIDE open, it's just an ugly game to watch.

KDRE just said it...why isn't he playing in the post?

He's shooting almost always from the 3 point area.

He should get in there, slow the game down...lead the team from the post.

LA needs...absolutely needs...this to be a slow paced game.

Shooting from the perimeter plays into the suns hands perfectly.

Sorry pal, but the triangle is best utilized starting from the post, in which Mr Bryant just happens to be very good from that area.

It's not my fault Phil can't reign kobe in for fear of everyone freaking out, and him possibly losing his job.

I will say his coaching this year has been trash, but again, this is a much better option than what they are using right now.

I gotta disagree with you here, I don't think this is the same as last time. He's going to the basket some and dishing out for open shots, they just aren't going down.

People talk about how our supporting cast is alright-to-good.

Please, none of those guys do any intagibles, show no hustle, and act like they are in the playoffs just because and are looking forward to various offseason activities.

I feel sorry for Kobe, he is doing everything he possilby can just to keep them in the game.

                              Ugly.

The Lakers won't win until this team is stacked with blue-collars and defenders. They don't have to be great players, but they need to defend and move without the ball.

Tell me why he isn't playing any defense at all, and not shooting at all?

Not driving to the hole, not even thinking about drawing a foul.

Now Im not totally blaming Kobe, but all of a sudden a guy who takes 44 shots in a game takes none almost in a crucial playoff game?

Slymm, you're right, the Wiz situation was just terrible, not all bad, but terrible as a whole.
