    Wow, dude, get over it.

Anyways, I think Golden State has run out of energy. They got real pumped up for the Mavs, but I think after that, they are kind of out of energy and they lack that intensity against the Jazz.

To be honest...I thought GS played just as well against Utah last night as they did Dallas. 112 points...they hit the same crazy shots...

It's just that Utah came back at them MUCH better than Dallas did. They hustled on the boards, their front line had production from all their bigs...

And Deron Williams took it right back at Baron, something Jet Terry and Devan Harris couldn't do over the series.

Utah is better structured to deal with GS.

They ran out of energy? People on here are acting like they got blown out or something, they only lost by 6 points.

Yep, Utah actually has enough production at the frontline (Boozer) to negate the small lineup Golden State plays, unlike Dallas. They have a dependable low-post scorer who can back down and score two points. Utah also had some semblance of a transition defense, unlike Dallas.

IMO, it comes down to who takes the first road game, because neither team will give up much ground on their home court.

Word out here in Phoenix is that Kurt Thomas is replacing James Jones in the starting lineup tonight.

Surprising in the fact that D'Antoni rarely makes adjustments this deep in the year.

That's what the playoffs are all about. Making adjustments whenever necessary.

Amare Stoudemire needs help on the boards as well as help guarding Tim Duncan, and Steve Nash needs another big man on the court to run effective Pick & Pop plays with. Good move by Mike D'Antoni to start Kurt Thomas.

The lack of energy is due to most of the team having the flu. I expect them to have more energy in game 2.

Maybe its just me but I found the Utah-GS game to be really entertaining.

I was really looking forward to Hou v Utah, but that series put me to sleep. I did not watch more than a full half per game in that series cause Houston is so boring on offense. I can't wait for game to of Utah v. GS.

Great move by bringing in Kurt to start.

We need to put Nash on Bowen, Marion/Bell on Manu/Parker depending on what's happening IN the game, Kurt on Duncan, and Amare on Elson.

One thing I liked about Game 1 was, although Parker torched us, they weren't layups. His shot will not fall that easily in Game 2. We did a good job of keeping him out of the paint. I'll take Parker shooting those jumpers any day.

GS looked like they had plenty of energy to me. Nobody had the Flu, otherwise they would be too sick to play. It's just that simple. GS fans don't need to make excuses. This series is long from over and if GS relies on excuses to cover their asses after one loss, then this series is going to be over a lot sooner.

That is no excuse. Baron Davis said that at halftime that a lot of the team had the flu. So don't try to make up stuff please.

I don't want to hear excuses for teams losing dude. They were definitely well enough to play and they would of have played the same way regardless. If Utah would have lost, I guarantee you the Jazz wouldn't have blamed it on Fischer's absence. With illnesses or missing starters, teams are still capable of winning (some more than others obviously). No excuses.

Thats fair, however I am not using it as an excuse. I didn't mention they lacked energy another poster did and I commented on why they were. So your barking up the wrong tree here. I do hope Utah has Fisher next game.
