That's just nonsense that has been repeated enough that people actually believe it. A great point guard like Nash does not hinder any player's game. If Dirk improved, it has to do with him entering his prime and playing more inside.

Nash wasn't a great point guard in Dallas. He was good, but not great.

I would not count out Utah just yet. I think Boozer is quicker than Duncan and maybe he can get inside and score. That is going to be a key match up in the series.

The most frustrating thing about the Nets losing to the Cavs is that the Cavs aren't that good of a team. They play great defense and can rebound but I think their offense was actually better last year.

Shut up Greg Anthony. He keeps blabbing about Nets having no center and completely forgot about Nenad Krstic. ESPN basketball is such a joke.

                        Anthony actually mentioned Krstic.

The Nets didn't play well in the series at ALL... then again, neither did the Cavs for the most part. The way we came out tonight was great. All hustle and intensity. Lebron goes to the bench, our play slacks of majorly. We'll pick it up though against Detroit.

NJ should have taken us to 7 easily though. RJ/Vince/Kidd never got going really together. They are a formidable trio, which, if they got on the same page in the series, it would have been over, IMO.

I must have missed that. If the Nets resign Moore (which probably won't happen), isn't Krstic and Moore a good enough C/PF combo. I think he ignores how poorly Carter played. The thing that pisses me off the most about Carter is how inconsistent he is with driving to the basket, and the way he gimps whenever he misses a layup.

Being at the game and seeing how horribly the Cavs played when Lebron went out show how bad his supporting cast is without him. Players like Marshall and Pavlovic can really hurt you when Lebron is creating open shots for them, but without him, they're pretty crappy.

Yep... That's the sad reality. When he goes out, there is nobody to draw the defense in, to kick it out to the shooters. Larry hasn't been playing well enough to garner any extra help on defense, so everyone stays put, and the offense is stagnant, jump shooting.
