Just wanted to point out...Kobe and KG both have 5 triple doubles this season...they both have the most I believe...this only makes the MVP Race that much closer...

Just because you have 5 triple doubles doesn't make the MVP race closer (talking about Kobe in defense for KG ). Mcgrady shouldn't even be in it first off. It should be KG, Duncan, Iverson, and Kobe. All of these players are having an MVP season (Mcgrady is statistically but his team isn't so ), more so with KG and Iverson. I say this because they are having a great MVP like season (along with the other canidates) but are doing so with less. And yes this is a factor.

Why isnt Ben Wallace being mentioned in all this mvp talk? I can't stand the Pistons but this guy is as big a defensive force I've seen in a while. He's having a monster year, and should at least get some MVP consideration.
My top 5 MVP if the season ended today would be:

3. Iverson
4. Duncan
5. O' Neal ( Jermaine not Shaq)

Ben Wallace is a gamebreaker. He is certainly most valuable to his team, and I beleive he should be the League MVP as well. If defense truely wins championships, why not reward the most dominant defensive player in the game?
