Can we close the book on JJ Redick?

It looks like his scouting report shortcomings are going to send him to the D-League soon. What is it now, 3 coaches? Several lineups? He hasn't beaten anyone out of a starting job and his numbers are terrible. SVG gives guys opportunities, and he has seen fit to yank Redick because of bad D. Is it finally a wrap for the Dookie?

It may be. He's not looking too good.

Never thought he would be very good NBA player.

Coach K made him look better than he was while he was in College. Running him through 3 or 4 picks every play and always putting him on the other teams worst offensive player.

Now that he is not the focus of his teams offense and has to create his own shot, his weaknesses in his game are coming out.

I just can't believe they wasted a lottery pick on him. Of course, that draft was pretty terrible.

The Magic hit eight FGs in a row. Who misses number 9? Our boy JJ, lmao. Matt Carroll is in there showing him how to be a shooting specialist in this league.

The book was closed on Redick while he was still at Duke. All he can do is shoot (even though he does that well).

Yeah he went to the wrong school if he wanted to have a long NBA career. Duke makes great Naismith winners, UNC makes men ready for the NBA. Did I mention I was a Heels fan. Ever since the days of King Rice and Steve Bucknall I been seeing Duke players fall apart when they start playing for pay. Well, they cant all be Tarheels now can they?

Boozer is a beast, and Shane Battier is a real contributer in the league right now. Elton Brand has had a great career so far(he's injuired this year, but he'd gone a long time playing great ball before that) and Chris Duhon is an effective backup.

Before Grant Hill was injured he was a top 5 player and would most likely be considered an all time great right now. Christian Laetner put in a lot of solid seasons.

Oh you left out Danny Ferry, Bob Hurley, Laettner, Cherokee Parks, Corey Maggette and Trajon Langdon. Laundry list of failures. And I will give you Luol Deng. He seems solid, but 2 or 3 in a 20+ year run is a joke. Need I list the Heels who have prospered in the NBA? A better question is do we have enough time to list them all?

How were Ferry, Laettner, and Maggette failures? Is every player who doesn't become a "superstar" a failure?

Nevermind, I just realized your agenda.
