Re: MVP discussion
Me, three of my boys from the Y, and my moms could make the playoffs in the East. With no bench

Re: MVP discussion
Like I said, that line of logic is flawed to me. Just because they added Gasol he cannot win? So the award has a pre-determined criteria? Your candidate has to be on a mediocre team?Comment

Re: MVP discussion
Especially since KG only has a great team because of Pierce and Allen.Comment

Re: MVP discussion
Seems as if some just don't want certain players to win.
Once again I don't give too much care about the award. I do get irked when people say such and such can't win because he has help. IMO the MVP should at least make it to the Finals. I'll look up all the MVP winners and see where their team went in the playoffs.Comment

Re: MVP discussion
how valueable can bryant be if the team can pretty much stand pat if he misses some games imo they wouldnt be the same record they have now but pretty much close to it especially now with gasol and when bynum comes backComment

Re: MVP discussion
imo, Iverson's in Philly, Robinson's in San Antonio, and Kareem's 3 MVPs in Milwaukee were probably the main years where someone won it by truly carrying a team without much help. Most of the rest of the MVPs played with good supporting casts imo.Last edited by ZB9; 02-22-2008, 04:36 PM.Comment

Re: MVP discussion
and for k.g other then spree and sam there was nothing and k.g. pratically carried them
and iverson did what lebron is doing now taking a horrid team far, not to mention he already took them to the finals once
any other mvp candiate with lebrons team would be no where close where the cavs are nowComment
