Wow, that's not good for their prospects.

Remember what I said in that other thread? Yep, the Spurs will probably win the West and return to the Finals. I'll puke all over myself when it happens, but I can feel it building.

WOW. 8-12 weeks? That HURTS. If it's 8 weeks, then they'll be fine because he'll be back by Playoff time. But 12 weeks is going into the second round of the Playoffs I believe. Either way, it hurts. And I remember last year everyone was saying that Bynum would return at the end of the year...then it was the Playoffs, and then they said he wouldn't return.

Sure it does (warrant its own thread)... I figured they wanted to come up some kinda PR stuff first. Knee sprains aren't common and he looked just like Yao did when he got hit the exact same way.

What? I wouldn't say that at all. They made it to the Finals last year without Bynum...I'm sure they can do it again.

Really hurts their chances of getting homecourt throughout the playoffs, which would mean having to win a game in the Q in the Finals.
Maybe the Grizzlies will give away another player to help the Lakers again this year.
