If by no chance, you mean no chance at a ring then I agree. If you're talking about getting out of the West, you forget so soon that L.A. made it pretty far last year without the big guy.

So much overreacting going on in here.

Just like I said with the Spurs, people are way too quick to declare veteran teams done.

The regular season ends 10 weeks from tomorrow. The Lakers dominated the West without any Bynum, and they can win it again this year, especially since they should have him for the conference semis.

Cue more overreacting.

Yeah I said that in the game discussions thread.

Last year they didn't even have Ariza until what, the Finals? With him, and a year more of experience playing together for all the Lakers, I still have my hopes.

Yeah, they still have their best player, Pau Gasol. With their #2 option going down, Ariza and Odom will have to pick up the slack.

Last year they didn't even have Ariza until what, the Finals? With him, and a year more of experience playing together for all the Lakers, I still have my hopes.

And even then Ariza was making plays. Hopefully everyone learns from last year and brings it this year, and yeah I agree that HCA is HUGE for the Lakers, especially if they manage to get it throughout the entire playoffs.
