You have to consider the source.

There are known Kobe Haters here. They will never give Kobe the props he deserves.

Personally, I cannot see how ThreeKing was serious with this list. It's his opinion, so I'm not going to bash it too much, just that he and I have a much different way to say someone is good or how good they are.
    Too Old To Game Club

    Urban Meyer is lol.

Sad how people just cannot respect good basketball. It is obvious that ThreeKing was looking for easy answers so he looked at scoring stats. Always a mistake.

What in the hell is a "Orlando Woolridge"?

Sounds like a knock-off Disney World or somethin.

Oh boy, I needed a good laugh, thanks.

I hope it doesn't get locked. People are definitely entitled to their opinions.

I absolutely don't mind whatsoever if people come strong with their opinions.

Shame on you, being from Chicago and not knowing who he is.

Dude, I'm telling you, I HATE him, but I can at least respect what he's done in the NBA. You can say all you want about this thread not being meant to bash a certain player, but every poster (except 1) will disagree with you.

Mind backing up your ranking of Gervin over Bryant with some reasons other than "GG was a better team player".

Better career FG% and a better team player and teammate.

Better career FG%. He is a better player than Bryant because his FG% is 5 points higher? Nevermind the fact that Kobe is a better perimeter defender, better passer, has more ways to score than Gervin, is a better rebounder in traffic, and is way superior in the clutch?

Gervin couldn't make a clutch shot to save his life, played sorry defense, and didn't know what a 'pass' was.

Kobe has more boards, assists, steals, blocks...and he'll have more points barring an injury.

He needs 1 All-Star game to match Gervin. (likely)

Yeah, because Kobe had a Rolls Royce to deal with when he first came up, most players started working with Yugos.

Not as hard when you have proven all-stars on your team for most of your career.

Put Kobe on a straight garbage team and what happens? From 04-07 he either couldn't get out of the first round or he didn't make the playoffs. He's basically T-Mac.

I remember Orlando Woolridge. He wasn't a bad player, but to say he was better than John Stockton, Charles Barkley, LeBron James, Scottie Pippin, Tim Duncan, Elgin Baylor, Kobe Bryant and so on... is just absurd.

I don't want this to get locked and I have too much repsect for KDRE so I'm done here. This wasn't meant to be a Kobe thread.

I wish this forum would let us do our thing, but they just don't run it here like that.
