Not as hard when you have proven all-stars on your team for most of your career.
    And that's his fault how?

You gonna knock MJ because he had Pippen? Knock Bill Russell because he had Bob Cousy? Knock KAJ because he had Magic?

SMH. Conveinient how you forgot last year, yet you praise Paul Pierce for his work.

He shouldn't even got to the Finals last year. I'm still trying to figure out how the Gasol trade went down.

        LOL.

I don't want to spin this into a Kobe thread either. So let's keep discussing your top 50 favorite players of all-time.

Re: ThreeKing's Greatest 50 players in NBA History

Truth of the matter here is this wasnt a Kobe thread at all, and because he had Kobe listed so low some people got offended. I don't and neither does anyone else agree with him being that low on the list but as some said AI being left off and I dont see heads over heels posts about that.

This has nothing to do with baiting and Kobe as much as it does ThreeKing's opinion, which you can take it as just preposterous or fair.

Problem with that is.... you can start a thread about who is your top 50 or whatever, but when you dont list a criteria of how this list came about, you cripple the discussion and leave too many factors in the air to justify anything you say.

People are going to disagree with you all day long because there is no way to be objective in that list since you have no standard of why you have these placements ThreeKing.

..oh and please no Kobe war in here

Take Orlando Woolridge off the list, bump everyone up and add AI at 50.

I have a problem with AI not being on the list, of course, but I could care less - it's his personal list

My dumb *** had Pippen on there twice.

And ex was quick to point that out.

Plus Orlando was a beast before Michael came. Dudes outside the Chi don't know this.

No doubt. Just showing some love for O.

The rest of my list I stand by.

Between seeing Orlando's name dropped amongst the elite & AB calling Malone, Barkley, & Ewing losers my love for the NBA Forum has actually increased. I can't wait for what's next.

I would have put Kareem Abdul-Jabbar #1. He was just as good a player as Jordan in my opinion, maybe not as flashy, but he was clutch. Jordan was unstoppable, but so was Kareem with the sky-hook.

Both players won 6 NBA titles and 6 MVP's.

In 1986, even at age 39, Kareem was still a dominant player, averaging 23 points and 6 rebounds. Jordan did average 20 points a game in his final season, but he clearly wasn't the Jordan of old.

I would probably put Jordan second, Magic and Larry 3 and 4. I grew up with them, so I guess I still think of them as the best. Watching Bird and Magic was awesome. They made everyone around them such better players.
