Talent wise, LeBron is more talented than Timmy.

However, Timmy is one of the most accomplished NBA players ever and at this point, it's too premature to put LBJ over Tim.

Which is why I said Tim should be over LeBron.

Putting bonafide chokers like Ewing, Robinson, and Malone ahead of Bryant is okay by you? You truly believe one dimensional defenseless scorers like Gervin, Barkley, and Arizin are superior to Bryant? The most egregious selection has to be Pete Maravich though. He was the worst defender of all time, would not throw a pass unless it was behind his back or between his legs, and he was so selfish that his teammates couldnt stand playing with him. You have much to learn about the game in my estimation.

AlexBrady, Paul Pierce doesn't defend when he feels like it LOL. Pierce, Wade, and LeBron are all way too high on that list, but you can't tell me this dude defends only when he feels like it. That's really an idiotic statement. Since 2007 he's actaully been known for being the complete opposite.

Gervin couldn't make a clutch shot to save his life, played sorry defense, and didn't know what a 'pass' was.
Kobe is the most overrated defender in the history of the nba im sorry but him playing good defense for 40 seconds a game doesn't make him good.

For the most part he does. I wouldn't have said it if I felt otherwise. He will play sterling defense against the top wings in the league like Kobe and LeBron though. Most importantly, PP has the tools to be a great defender. Lateral quickness and superior strength are traits that Pierce has. His transitions tend to be lazy in a broken field though and that is my problem with his defense. Its just about focus for Pierce.

I still don't agree. He plays defense against whoever he's covering. I watch the dude every night he plays. I wouldn't lie to you. I can name all of his weaknesses, but defense is actually one of his best traits.

He is a very good defender and a complete player. Nobody defends Kobe better than Pierce in my opinion.

I wouldn't even say LeBron is more talented.

More athletics yes, but I don't group athleticsm and talent as the same thing. Some do, if you do then ok.

Timmy's got the fundamentals down better then anyone else, and that takes you a long way as far as talent is concerned. It's kind of hard to compare the two, but I would rather have Duncan in his prime.

I've been reading through this thread trying to figure out what would even move someone to randomly make a list like this, and then think that people would even care what some random person's opinion (a very bad opinion, might I add) on who the greatest players in history were. It'd be different if this was a sports columnist's list, or a former or current player's list... But it's a guy who for no reason decided to quickly make a list before he went to work..
