It's not about head to head. I'm just saying Vince and RJ then was more productive than Allen and Pierce is now.

Actually if Pierce isn't on he hurts the offense because he Isolates 90% of the time.

RJ role back then is more similar to Ray Allen IMO and Vince's is similar to PP.

In Allen and Pierce prime they're hands down better than RJ but then and now it's debatable.

If you add KG to that team along with a Healthy Zo they very well could've won a ring also.

This isn't to discredit Kidd and hype up Rondo but as of Now the game for game Rondo is leading the Celtics just as Kidd lead that Nets team.

The problem with that team and everyone knows was at the PF position and Center because Zo had health problems

Carter was better than both in his prime. However, in his prime, he was only playing 2,300 miles away from Jason Kidd.

Actually that was Carter's 6th year in the league I call that prime....27.5 points is prime

I asked a question about when and where has Kidd ever had 3 HOFers and so far that question has yet to be answered.

Actually you said 2.......My point is this is NOT the Paul Pierce of 2005-2006 that averaged 27 ppg nor the Ray Allen from the Sonics who averaged 24ppg and above.

These are shells of they're former selves.Yes they HAD A HOF CAREER but these are not HOF level players currently.

Kobe played with 3 1st ballot HOF's and still couldn't win it.
Reason being is Payton and Malone was nowhere near the same level that made them HOF's over the course of they're CAREER.

HOF is a CAREER ACHIEVEMENT NOT ONE SEASON.

Again, other than getting his baskets in the transition, RJ had NO offense. NONE and he damn sure had no jumpshot.

1. That wasn't his prime. His prime was his second-fourth years in the league.

2. If you want to use the 2004-2005 year, it's a losing argument. Carter's numbers amazingly jump 10 PPG and 5% better shooting the moment he begins playing with Jason Kidd.
