    D. Wade would like a word with you. Then D. Howard.

    IMO it's already:

    1. LBJ
    2. Kobe
    3. Wade
    4. Howard
    5. Durant

Durant > CP3 right now? Gotta disagree there.

Re: Top 25 Players out West-- Is KD top 12?

Yep. I prefer Durant's abilities over Paul's already. And if you know how much I'm up Paul's butt that's saying a lot.

I really believe if you put Durant on a playoff caliber team, it'd be scary.

Deron/CP3 are top 10 on my list.

IMO the undisputed best players in the entire league:

        1. LBJ
        2. Kobe
        3. Wade
        4. Howard
        5. Durant or CP3
        6. CP3 or Durant
        7. Dirk
        8. Deron Williams
        9. Brandon Roy
        10. This spot can be debated between several players.. Pau, Amare, Melo, KG/Bosh

I'm with Stumble on this one. Whoa there, cowboy. CP3 may be the best PG since....well it's really up to him. I think Chris is in there with that group of guys that everyone has to worry about for the next ten years.

And you know how I feel about KD. I think KD will be the best offensive force in the game, and very soon, but Chris really makes his team go. Chris is already at the point where he has literally everything you want in a PG.

Yeah jumped the gun perhaps. I'm really fickle when it comes to rating the best of the best.

Now I think that Melo deserves to be in the top 10 for sure and maybe equal to or higher than Durant. I completely forgot about Duncan.

Pau is right in their too.

            LBJ
            Kobe
            Wade
            Howard
            Paul
            Dirk
            Duncan
            Roy
            Melo
            Durant

            Deron Williams/Pau Gasol

Somewhere right near the list: KG/Bosh/Amare

To me those are the undisputed best.

Kevin Martin over Pierce. I don't know about that.

I'd take Granger over Pierce. Paul can't produce like he used to. Granger is a nice well rounded young player. Only thing I'd give to Pierce is performance in big moments. That dude is clutch, and probably will be until he retires, but overall Granger has surpassed him at this point.

You're right in some regard, but apparently Paul got into some diet program this summer, and if he got himself into tremendous shape () then maybe he'll be able to get his explosiveness back...although he'll be 32 in October.

Paul is battle tested. Granger is just getting started in this world. Defensively Pau is more reliable. Yea Granger is a better scorer, thats because Paul doesn't have to score anymore like he did before.

I still want an explanation for Kevin Martin LOL

Re: Top 25 Players out West-- Is KD top 12?

Kevin Martin's field goal percentage has dipped over the years, but that's because he is taking more and more threes now, to keep the Kings competitive throughout the game. He's hitting them at a high clip (42%), even when he shoots 5+ threes per game. His extra time on the perimeter may help the Kings stay in the ball game, but it's taking away from his natural attack the basket mode... this guy still averaged 10+ freethrows per game which is quite absurd. Add a mid-80's free throw percentage to that, and he is quite deadly when the other team gets in a foul-frenzy.

It's quite astonishing that this guy has a 45% career field goal percentage, but has the 2nd best mark for career true-shooting percentage of any player in the NBA (the leader being Brent Barry, the only spot-up shooter in the top 11).

Kevin Martin just happens to be surrounded by one of the worst put-together teams in NBA history. I don't think K-Mart would be a better fit for Boston than Pierce because of the other intangibles that Pierce brings to the table, and the Celtics don't need a prolific scorer, with a well-rounded team... but the Kings on the other hand wouldn't have even won 17 games with Paul Pierce. Try like 12 or 13. Geesh.

Kevin Martin is the same offensive player that Paul Pierce is... but I think Paul is on the decline, while Kevin is on the rise. That's the slight difference.

Even if his offensive game is better than Pierce's (which I don't believe) his skill level doesn't equate to that of Pierce's in any regard.
