Wesley Johnson's workout with Attack Athletics

    <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/M4X5jFMOrzA&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xd0d0d0&hl=en_ US&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/M4X5jFMOrzA&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xd0d0d0&hl=en_ US&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

    From the write-up:
Johnson stands out immediately. He looks every bit as smooth and polished as we envisioned coming in. The explosiveness he shows is unmistakable despite the late hour and the fact that his body is running on nothing but adrenaline at this point. Some of the dunks he pulls off are incredibly impressive. He glides through the air with the body control of a 6-2 guard, despite measuring out the previous day at 6-7 ¼ in shoes with a 7-1 wingspan (ideal size for an NBA wing). He’s going to be a terror in transition right off the bat. There’s no question about that.

Johnson changes speeds fluidly, looking more comfortable executing advanced ball-handling moves in this setting than we expected. His mid-range game sharpens into focus. He elevates beautifully off the floor for a pretty pull-up jumper, creating separation and banking the shot off the glass effortlessly from 17 feet. His footwork is outstanding, his moves look quick and decisive, and the touch on his shot is excellent.

That's who I wanted the Wizards to draft, because I thought we were getting the number 5 pick..He's going to be a good player where ever he goes.

The first 40 or so picks should all be quality and/or intriguing prospects.

I don't know if there's any HOFers in this draft but it looks like one of the deepest drafts in recent memory.

        Very very talented on paper.

I think the opposite. There are probably only a handful of players that will come in and contribute, let alone start (Wall, Turner, Cousins, and Johnson).

There are a lot of mystery guys in this draft, more than any I can remember. You have projected lottery picks with huge flaws in their game.

Yeah you're right, but I think I wasn't clear enough or you didn't fully understand what I was trying to say.

As far as coming in off the bat and making a meaningful difference, I am with you, a lot of youngsters out there. However I can't recall a draft where there's been more intriguing prospects.

I look at the top 40 in mock drafts, and I can say I wouldn't mind having most of them on my team.

I don't think I've felt that way for a while.

Yeah, there are going to be a lot of hits or misses in this draft. GMs have their homework cut out for them.

I have to check who came out with Boozer. I remember thinking he was going to be a star but wasn't COMPLETELY shocked he went low, so there had to be some good guys in that draft that didn't pan out. He went early 2nd round.

The main knock on Boozer coming out of Dook was his size (pause). There were also questions about his athleticism and would he be able to finish over/around bigger defenders. His Dook team had a lot of talent on it so he was never really a focal feature.

True, but 2nd round in an NBA draft is like 5th round in an NFL draft. He's certainly not the only star to ever come out of the 2nd round so you may be right. I may have had clouded expectations since I watch more ACC ball than anything and pretty much expected him to do well.

I watched him a ton at Dook and thought he'd be a decent role player in the league but never the player he is now. He was always getting compared to Brand and at the time there was that stigma about Dook players sucking in the pros.

Utah found another diamond in the rough in Millsap although once you find 'em you have to pay $ to keep 'em.

Brand was longer (wingspan) so I can see that not being a fair comparison, but Brand was a beast then so I don't think that would've knocked Boozer's stock down.

There was that stigma about Duke players but for whatever reason, I saw him differently. He had an NBA body as a freshman, had range on his jumper, was a good FT shooter for a big and was clearly a very smart player. Don't get me wrong, his career has gone better than even I thought it would, but I saw him as a starter at either SF/PF at some point.

I would pay a like $5 to see that workout.

I wonder if they'll make them bang with each other pause
