What was the point differential between those two teams? That much better indicator than just using seeding and records.

Kobe forgetting when he told Clarkson to shut up and get the rebound. Or was that Bynum.

Between each other on the series +3 Lakers, on the season in general Lakers +4.72 and Boston +3.66 with the Lakers having a higher strength of schedule.

I don't know what a diss track is the lakers are doing does anyone think this will effect LBJ going to them ? Lebron has a history of not wanting to play with you people then you factor in what ball said about his family. Anything to this or just media overblowing things ? I know everyone seems to think him and Simmons aren't a good fit playing together, but him and Ball don't seem to be a perfect match either.

Numbers aside, Lakers played against Boston like Toronto played against any LeBron led team scared and soft.

Lakers were also extremely inconsistent in the same cloth of Odom you never knew what you were going to get.

We caught a break with Perkins going down helping us get a little edge on the boards and with Bynum potato chip knees holding up for brief stints.

Boston was a better team on both sides especially defensive wise, they keyed in on Kobe and it clicked in his head to finally trust his teammates.

              These are pretty brilliant, lol

Fans around the NBA have put up billboards to woo LeBron James. What would it look like if all 30 teams did the same? See for yourself.

Yeah I think there was a noticeable difference in that match-up in 2010 compared to 2008. Pau pretty much killed is "soft" labels from how he played compared to the first series, KG had started breaking down a bit after that first run with them. He had missed quite a few games that next season and a few in 2010 as well. Adding Artest was huge, if I remember right he hit the shot that clinched game 7, also defended both Rondo and Pierce depending on the situations IIRC.

Lakers made a rushing come back in the 4th down. Great game.

From a basketball standpoint it makes no sense for LeBron to go to the Lakers with Paul George. He needs another superstar, PG13 is overrated IMO. Plus all the role players the Lakers have are not any better than what the Cavs have now. To me, the best place for LeBron is Cleveland. Then he’s not “chasing” rings and he’s being loyal. I’ve been to a Cavs game at the Q and the place is just electric with Lebron there. The city LOVES him, and he can do no wrong there. His son can go to St. Vincent St. Mary and win them more championships as well.

Sources already confirmed Boston is shipping out Kyrie to bring in LeBron. They'll run the 6'8" lineup with Bron, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Horford, and on the defensive side run Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Bron, Horford.

                      It's happening lol

Pau didn't completely kill the soft label he just wasn't as shook that series. He still constantly flails too much when going for boards against smaller players. He should of won MVP that series too, one of the best most versatile finesse big to play.

Yeah Artest hit the big shot but we would of been better suited keeping Ariza years down the line but he left for more money.

Which would make the “pretty much broken” statement make sense. Some sort of strain, sprain, bone bruise, ligament tear or stretch to where as far as pain it might as well be broken. But obviously no real break, his hand wouldn’t be able to function the same. I broke the bone in my hand that aligns with my ring finger. Actually while playing basketball. I didn’t know it was broken and kept playing for a while, but it was incredibly painful to just dribble with my left hand, and when I subbed myself out I could feel movement and immediately knew it was broken. (Bones don’t wiggle lol).

Point being is, I could have actually played on it, but I’m not sure with it being my shooting hand it would have been possible. Keeping the hand in a somewhat stationary position was completely painless, I couldn’t imagine trying to follow through with a shot though as dribbling was painful enough. I ended up in a hard cast for a couple weeks.

I just don’t think he should have said anything about it honestly. Or at least not wear the cast after game 4. It would have leaked that his hand was hurt, and pictures obviously, and his drop in play a bit, along with taking less jumpers, would have been enough to indicate that was true. No reason to really put on the show about it and show up in the cast and all of that. In my opinion at least.

Kevin Pelton gets paid to write articles such as how the Lakers could land LeBron, Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard this offseason...what a life!

What's the key to creating a new superteam in L.A.? Kevin Pelton explains how the team and the superstars might get it done.

Kawhi isn't leaving the Spurs, especially in a situation where he asks for a trade himself to the Lakers and they just say ok and give him what he wants.
