    Re: The LeBron James Thread

I'm of the personal belief that a lot of the off court stuff that comes with Bron is overblown, especially if you dont get caught up in headlines.

but as much as I joke about Bron coming to the Spurs, I think itd be a HUGE adjustment for him. Hes definitely smart enough to fit in, but is he ready to fully buy into the culture, sacrifice and make changes to his game to do so? Not sure hes willing to....

Im not sure he's willing to be that Vanilla right now or ever, but who knows.

People say Pop is the best and blah blah about the Spurs but never look to play in San Antonio.

Yea Lebron and Pop are both smart enough to make it work, but I don't see that being a good fit. It would make the west a lot more fun as that would mean 3 legit teams that could win it all.

Would SA with LeBron even threaten GS tho?
                  I mean really?
I don't really think they would.
Aldridge is widely inconsistent, heck he wanted out of SA at one point last year.
The back court is very average.
And if Kawhi does come back (apparently he's not happy) can he stay healthy.
I just don't see SA with LeBron beating GS.

I think where ever LeBron goes. You'll see a Domino effect. FA would be signing up for that chance. LeBron is one of the rare players that could fit on any NBA team in the league.

You mean how they have gotten worse the last 3 years?
And how their roster is very old?
Yeah, I have been paying attention to them.
Again with that current roster just adding LeBron isn't beating GS.
                        That's all I said.

It would be a lot closer then whoever the 3rd best team was in the west this year which officially I guess was Portland.

                            Huh?

They won. 60 games last season and had a leg up on the warriors til Kawhi got hurt and even won a game against them this season.

                            Lamarcus balled out this season

They got younger. A bunch of younger players on the roster

Kawhi was injured most of the year...where did the unhappy come from?

U sure or are u xposing yourself?

Not even sure what that means.
They are 1-8 vs GS the last 2 years in the playoffs.
I am starting to question whether you have been paying attention to them.
There was a huge issue this year with Pop thinking he should have played at the end of the year. The doctors oked him to play and he wouldn't.
His family came out and said he wasn't happy with the Spurs, keep up.

If Lebron goes to the west, how annoying do people think it will be with the amount of stories around the league with fans and media complaining about 1v8 playoff format. Let's face it, assuming Lebron doesn't go to Houston or Golden state, the top 3 in west could be better than the 1 seed in the east
