That's what I was saying when I said that maybe I was being too hard on Walsh and it was the media blowing things out of proportion. I had to clarify for Born, but I agree with everything you posted about the idiotic media. That was exactly my point, and I'm glad you said it.

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
If he'll sign for a shorter or smaller deal than we might keep him, I don't know. He plays hard, has turned into a hell of a versatile offensive threat and can rebound his tail off. I can tell you that his offensive production has nothing to do with Mike's system. He's horrible on D but that's in part because he has to guard opposing centers, the rest of the team plays no D and our help/rotations are on par with a mediocre high school team's.
It's not even close - Chicago. Bron, Bosh and Rose. Not sure they have the front court to beat LA or Boston in the next year or two (remember what Boston did to Pau in the 08 Finals, Bosh would deal with the same) because I'm a firm believer that if Chicago lands Bosh they are giving up Noah to do so. I'm going to be a broken record for the next two months, but Toronto is not taking Deng and his doo doo contract."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

I agree, but I'm not sure Lee goes for only $10 million a year, and if he does, it is going to be later in the summer.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Nope. The Knicks only hope is that the Raptors agree to a S&T with David Lee. Do you think they'd have any interest in Lee for that big of a contract?
Also, do you think it's possible that Bosh will not be part of a S&T? I know Bosh and the Raptors want it, but if they don't get any decent offers would they just accept a crap offer before letting him walk?"You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Production-wise and in terms of bang for your buck regarding Bosh and Lee it may be true but when it comes to attracting LeBron, well let's just say no one is rushing to NY to play with David Lee."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Bryan Colangelo would be run out of Toronto pretty quickly.
A S and T with NYK would probably be along the lines of Gallo and Curry and a future 1st. Pure crap imo.Comment

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
Kevin Durant isn't going to be an unrestricted free agent until 2012. He is a RFA after this coming season but we all know that OKC will match any offer (the max) given to him by any team in the league. He'll more than likely agree to the longest deal worth the most money he can get anyway and only OKC can offer that. In short, the Thunder had a very good year and are a young team on the rise. Along with the progression of both Durant and Westbrook, they are only a big man short of making a run at being conference champions within the next 2-3 years IMO. In short, Durant isn't going anywhere for a while.Comment

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
True. And teams can't give 1st in consecutive years or something like that.
I wish the Knicks still had Hill and Jeffries. Would much rather have them as opposed to Gallo. And I just don't see Bosh wanting to go to Houston.Comment

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
Agreed. If they can get a solid big man and a decent veteran off the bench to go along with what they already have, they are a championship contender in 2-3 years.Comment

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
Utah has our 1st rounder this year and we gave our next two first round picks to Houston in 2011-12. So you'd be getting in line for our 2013, if we can even trade it.
I love Gallo and hope we can hang on to him, I think he'd be a great 3rd option on a playoff team. But if it means bringing in Bosh, then the Rooster's gotta go."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
Yeah I think by rule the Knicks have to keep the 2011-2012 pick.
And yes, Bosh has to accept the destination.
I always wondered with sign and trades. What if we just sign him and don't trade him. LOL.Comment

That would be some funny, if not illegal stuff. I'm sure it is written into the contract to prevent that kind of skullduggery."In the morning he would read the Bible with another coach. Then, in the afternoon, he would go out and cheat kids who had probably saved up money from mowing lawns to buy those raffle tickets. That's Jim Tressel."Comment
