      Here's the link:

Two-time MVP basketball superstar LeBron James is on the cusp of free agency. In an interview scheduled to air Friday with CNN's Larry King, James said his current team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, has the best chance of keeping him.
King: Do you lean at all toward the place you know the best? I mean do they have an edge going in...
      JAMES: Oh, absolutely.
      KING: ...your home team?
JAMES: Absolutely. Because, you know, this city, these fans, I mean, have given me a lot in these seven years. And, you know, for me, it's comfortable. So I've got a lot of memories here. And - and so it does have an edge.
James has not talked to the media since the Cleveland Cavaliers were eliminated in the second round of the playoffs by the Boston Celtics.

I still think he's staying in Cleveland, but that was a leading question so it's gotta be taken with a grain of salt. It'd be different if King asked him "Who has the best chance of signing you?" and he said Cleveland.

Not as promising as other comments following that...

LeBron on Clippers: "Some really nice, solid pieces that, u know, if they add a free agent...it could be a really good team." 20 minutes ago via web

LeBron: "As far as saving the city economically, I can't get 2 involved. I can't let that be a decision of mine or what I do with my future. 31 minutes ago via web

LeBron: "If u put me and Bosh on the same team, if you put me and Wade on the same team...a lot of teams would be much better." 34 minutes ago via web

LeBron: "It's not always about the city. It's about winning." 35 minutes ago via web
The fact that he is having a meeting at all with the other big name free agents (who Cleveland can't afford as a package with LeBron) means he seriously considering other options and would prefer to be paired up with one of them.

I still think he's going to stay but I think he's gonna come out of that meeting with less of a desire to stay in CLE.

I would love for him to go to the Knicks, that way a once proud organization can finaly be ok again.

In their current state for the last few... who knows how many years they have been a pathetic, sorry, sad, sad organization.

There's no way that LeBron will stay in Cleveland unless Cleveland can somehow sign another top young player to the team.

As of now, Cleveland is getting really old, especially the front court, not in a good position to win a championship, let alone multiple ones.

Frankly, LeBron himself, probably does not know where he is going to be next season either.

It's amazing how much damage a bad GM can do. Dolan hasn't helped in the last decade either.

Sounds really promising for Cleveland and Chicago, though.

How are those quotes promising for Chicago? The Cavs and Clips are the only ones who should feel better from that interview.

                            Hmmm...we all see it differently.

Likely, it probably shouldn't make anyone feel better, because he didn't say much of anything. Any team's fan could twist his words to say he's coming to xxxx.

I really think he's playing the good people of Cleveland.

I feel he is as good as gone.

Chris Bosh was saying the same ****, but you know he is a goner.

He just doesn't want to seem like a bad guy.

Is it just me or does LeBron not embrace the city of Cleveland or the state of Ohio whatsoever. It may be nothing big, but just the fact that he is a Yankee and Cowboys fan rubs me the wrong way about him. It is kinda the feeling I get, but I may be wrong.

Why? Cleveland's teams have sucked for a long time (in his lifetime anyway) so if he liked another team because his hometown team was garbage isn't telling of anything. There is no law written down anywhere that you have to be a hardcore fan of whatever team is in your city/state. I also don't think he's playing the people of Cleveland. A lot of people in Cleveland are just idiots and taking this LeBron thing too far and are being unfair that this kid should have to handicap his future and career just for them because they act like they're going to need to be on suicide watch if he leaves. It's not LeBron's or any one person's (short of the mayor) job to keep Cleveland a relevant place in the country.
