I agree but it's not like he could've possibly come into this with a completely open mind. He had to have had some kind of favorite. That's why I thought he set the Monday deadline because the meetings are really just reinforcement and he already knows what they're going to say.

Yeah, this is true. This move will shape the rest of his legacy. BUT it shouldn't take him a week to figure out what's the best move for him. He's had since the end of the season to digest his next move. All these presentations by these teams is just a dog-and-pony show. None of these teams(CHI,CLE,NY,MIA,LAC,NJ) has significantly changed since the end of last season. Most of them might have less players because they're all moving salaries BUT none of them have signed anyone of significance yet.

Maybe a couple of days. I say Wednesday tops.

Well he has had since the 2nd round of the NBA playoffs to think about it.

The longer he waits, the longer the team he signs with has to wait to build their team around him, which means missing out on some FAs

The Knicks have been virtually eliminated from contention for LeBron James, according to a report from Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski.

James' camp categorized New York's presentation as 'lacking preparedness and organization.'

Aspects of the Nets' presentation earlier on Thursday were similar in nature to New York's and were 'sharper' and 'edgier'.

James has reservations about the possibility of his earning potential being greater in New York than in Cleveland to make up a $30M difference in salary.

I don't know how the headline came to be - how we're "eliminated" because the Nets had a "shaper and edgier" presentation. Just Woj drawing his own conclusions.
