Didn't say Rose was anti-LeBron. But the word is preference was Joe Johnson. They have same agent. That is what multiple people tell me.

      Are you serious?

The Cavs were 10 times better this year than the Finals year. They were better at every position and every bench spot.

The difference was that the East as a whole was 10 times better this year than 2007.

        1. But again, people have been making it sound as if he would be THE difference maker between teams when a FA is trying to figure out where to go. The same with Eddy Curry's Contract, the same with Wilson Chandler, and the same with Toney Douglass.
        I don't buy this.

At least if you are talking about Knick fans on RGM, I can agree. They are irrational and very delusional.

I have not seen anyone hype up Gallo at all. Just undue hate on a 1st year player who has room to grouw.

Reread this entire thread from beginning to now. Hell, there were folks on here calling him a Championship Piece not too long ago.

I have no reason TO hate on the dude or anybody on that team for that matter. It's just the ridiculous hype some people on here wanna give him just based on ONE average year.

                1. At this point, LeBron has tightly closed ranks, only seriously talking about decision with a couple people. Which is why so little info. 14 minutes ago via TweetDeck
                2. Also, can confirm several reports of a rift between Wes Wesley & James camp. Wes was indeed pushing Chicago, I’m told. 15 minutes ago via TweetDeck
                3. He really likes Rose & Noah. But there’s lack if shooters on roster. Also it doesn’t sound like he’s exactly being welcomed by Rose. 17 minutes ago via TweetDeck
                4. Based on several people who have talked to LeBron in last 72 hours, he is giving impression he’s undecided after last week’s meetings. 22 minutes ago via TweetDeck

That makes sense. Rose loved playing with Gordon his rookie season and even though he continued to progress this year, he missed having that lights out shooter.

                      2. Out of the Nets and Knicks(since that's really where that argument stems from)people say that because it IS true. Remember, ya'll basically GUTTED your team sans 2 people just to bring in 1-2 more people. There was NO pressure on us to have to get a BIG NAME because we actually had a team that we didn't have to gut to get to where we are this offseason and that's not even debateable when it comes to these 2 teams.

Before ya'll signed Amar'e, there wasn't ONE person on that Knicks team that you could honestly say you would take over Brook or could do a better job than him and the same goes for Devin and if you wanted to be technical you could say the same for Courtney Lee.. So when people were saying long-term, it was the fact that we actually HAVE people on our team that have PROVEN they can succeed(and be consistent)in this league, while ya'll didn't AT THAT POINT up until signing Amar'e?

So if you don't understand why people were saying that about the two teams, then that's just supreme homerism blinding you my friend. And before any other Knicks fan mentions the losing 70 games, just remember that out of the 12 wins, one of them came against you and it wasn't pretty so what would that say about your team knowing that it lost to one of the worst in NBA History?
You guys didn't gut your roster. I guess trading Jefferson, KIDD & Vince Carter wasn't gutting the roster?

Say what you want about our roster & it's attraction to FA. The reality is we have the most flexibility of any team looking @ FA. This includes the ability to sign 2 MAX FA, without having to trade any more players & CAP Room for the SUMMER of 2011 if we don't trade Curry during the season for another piece to the puzzle.

As for losing to the NETS. So what 11 other teams lost to them too.

A lot of Knick fans overrate/value Chandler, I agree with that. Toney could be a decent starting PG or could do nothing. The only thing with my point about Gallo and LBJ/Wade is that the type of player he is fits their games well - more than a Rose. I'm not saying Gallo is better than Rose cause that's obviously not true.

I didn't say the Nets' situation isn't better, because it obviously is especially if a 2nd max is freed up. I think Lopez is actually the best available #3 option if LBJ/Bosh pair up somewhere together. I think LBJ/Bosh/Lopez is better than LBJ/Bosh/Rose just based on their games meshing together.

My point was that people acted like the Nets' had a bright future but the Knicks were doomed and that "if LBJ choses the Knicks he doesn't care about winning" despite having the cap space. Yes, the Nets' future looked good regardless of this summer and we needed this summer but it's still the same damn future no matter how you get there.

Since Day 1 the media has been assuming the worst for the Knicks. Striking out with FA's and having wasted all those trades/picks for nothing. But that didn't happen - we got a piece. Amare and Gallo are a great start seeing where we've been the last decade. There was pressure on us and it was a gamble but we have succeeded thus far, we needed to get Amare or Bosh first to try to get Wade or LBJ. We'll see where things go from here.

That's not even in the Top 10 of the worst things to happen to our franchise in the last decade unfortunately.

                          1. Considering that we still had actual talent outside of those 3 and that Kidd wasn't going to be resigned anyway, no. Ya'll MADE yall intentions KNOWN all along that any move made in previous years was specifically being made for THIS offseason, am I wrong?

                          2. Exactly, 11 other teams have lost to them. But I'm not talking about them I'm talking about YA'LL so when a Knicks Fan is trying to throw mud at a Nets fan, need to take one looooooooooooooooooooooong look in the mirror my friend lol.

I mean I can see why people would say they thought the Knicks were doomed because coming into the season, they were really the only team that had the cap space to go out and try to build a super team but once other teams started making similar moves to do the samething and suddenly the Knicks weren't the only one with cap flexibility for this year to make moves(especially teams with better roster situations)then I can see why they'd say that.

It's the samething with Jersey. Coming into the offseason people were saying "Oh the Nets won't get anybody because no one wants to go to Newark and they're not going to Brooklyn" or "The Nets lost 70 games, who the hell would want to go there". And these comments usually came from the people who probably don't follow Basketball as much as most of us on here do. Those same comments are STILL being said but yet that somehow hasn't had ANY impact on us at all this season as other FAs haven't paid it too much mind at all.

Rose isn't exactly the most out going, friendly, talkative, energetic guy.....he's crazy laid back. LeBron probably just catching feelings because DRose doesn't bow down to him and/or LEBRON feels threatened by DRose
