Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread

    1. I remember that interview because it was on Mike and Mike last week when Bucher called Bull**** out on some of the stuff he was saying regarding this. It's been well known and documented that he's been the main one pushing the "Lebron to the Bulls" train for quite sometime now(along with the WWW has MAJOR pull nonsense). As for them "reporting", there no different than the usual Internet Bloggers that post the same stuff they do, except more people are going to believe them because they work for "The Mothership" of all Sports Stations.

    2. I never said one time that this **** bothering me because it's not affecting my life whatsoever. I'm not out there looking at 4th Quarter Fiscal Reports for my City/Team just so I can connect whatever dots there are to make it seem like he's going to my team/city even though he hasn't said anything to even give a clue as to where he's going.

    3. Like I said earlier, if you're going to announce it then there's no need to have a freaking hour long special, in which 50 mins of that nobody is going to care about because they'll be talking about nothing, unless you're doing it for attention. "Hey, everyone look at me, look at me, I'm announcing where I'm going, make sure you set your DVRs for this.

So you can sell that mess to some other fool cuz I ain't buying it. Seems to me that you're taking this more serious than anyone else while the rest of us are just having fun with the situation here(sort of).

      I don't want your respect.

I'm going to feel how I feel and if I start hating LeBron, then I'm going to hate LeBron.

Does he owe me anything? Nope. But I'll hate him for leaving the Cavaliers.

        Deng

Keeping Noah, signing Lee for less $ is probably a better option than getting Bosh - though it obviously means no LBJ. A big upgrade at PF and a pretty good upgrade at SG, while keeping your young pieces.
People may see our FA as a failure, but honestly, I think Lee and Noah are the best fit and we wouldn't need to trade anyone away.

And I'm not seeing Lebron coming to the Chi and would in fact be genuinely surprised if he did decide to come. And I'm not particularly mad about that either.

We either get a superstar FA to take touches away from Rose, or a shooter who might be w/o the name recognition, but would better help spread the floor.

We don't exactly NEED an LBJ or Wade, though it would be nice to get one in a "Chicago will be talk of the NBA again" way. If you're looking at the big-name FAs available right now and basing a team's success this offseason on how many (if any) of them your team was able to sign, then we'll probably look like we f*cked up.

If we trade Deng away though, then we really did screw up.

And I also side the Ohio folks on this as well in that people are really underestimating the type of deal this is to them.

How they feel about Lebron, I felt the same way about Favre once he basically took advantage of the system(legally)and ended up in Minnesota just so he could muster up 2 W's against us because we didn't bow/cater to his every demand.

How is it any different than every other city launching anti-player campaigns in other sports. Last I checked JD Drew still isn't terribly appreciated in Philly. Do you not take Philly and its fans serious because of that?

No one is going to go on a campaign, or tirade. We are just going to be hurt, and there will also be some anger. We could make a case that no one player has ever meant more to one team or area than LeBron James. Losing that will be devastating.

I just wonder what your reaction would be if the shoe was on the other foot, and you were the Cleveland sports fan who was on the verge of losing the only thing worth a dang in the town, sports wise.

Would you be glad and happy for Lebron if he bolted. I think not.

                      Disagree with this part.

After what they've done for him his entire time, catering to his EVERY demand and then he does this, I'd say they had PLENTY of love and then some for him.

Imagine if Kanye West crashes LeBron’s show and says “I’m gunna let you finish LeBron, but Michael Jordan was the greatest of all time.”

Right now there are rumors exploding in the NBA. All over the place involving three-team sign-and-trades, etc. No idea what to believe.

I honestly don't know what you're talking about in most of this response. I'll just reply to #2. I wasn't addressing you directly in talking about people who claim this offends their sports ethics, but rather the people who have actually said as much. If I was addressing one person, in this situation you, I would have said "Pack is being a hypocrite." But that's not the case. There are a few people, on here AND elsewhere(as I stated in my post), who claim that this dog and pony show is bothering them while simultaneously clinging to every detail.

The rest of the post is a combination of misunderstood or just plain wrong, so read into that as you will.
