Bulls woulda been able to cut Johnson and/or Gibson to get that second max contract with this right?

So LeBron was in Akron today for his camp, then went to NYC for some reason for a hour or two and will be flying to Miami for dinner with Bosh and Wade only to fly to Greenwich tomorrow? Interesting.

They don't need to. Boozer's deal is extremely helpful for their cap. They can sign another max guy.

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread

WOW he roasted him in that article. Here are some highlights.

He’s turned free agency into the title of our times, a preening pageant of fawning, begging and pleading. Hard-working people are dragged into municipalities and told to hold signs, chant scripted slogans and beg a diva who doesn’t care about them to accept a $100 million contract.
Carter’s pushed one agent – Aaron Goodwin – and one advisor – William Wesley – aside because he wanted to be the voice in James’ ear and the one getting credit on the masthead. So far, Carter’s been a superstar at spending James’ money on LRMR, but now he’s getting the company name out there and turning LeBron into Mr. July after LeBron didn’t have the stomach to be Mr. June.
Clearly this man is pissed off, lol. He makes some points though.

Cleveland Fans, Serious Question: Woj says that Lebron signing to NYC would be the biggest kick in the nuts(more so than any other city.) Why is that? Forgive my ignorance, but I'm not aware of any specific rivalry between NY and CLE.

Ah, then I believe they would be a little short. About 1-2 million. Off the top of my head that gap can easily be covered with James Johnson/Taj.

He's always good for a melodramatic/sensationalist article. A lot of people like him but I think he's a terrible journalist. The UConn recruiting ordeal alone was just embarrassing. He made it seem like UConn was about to get the SMU/Death Penalty.

Way too many 'non-media toolbags' are saying LBJ is going to the Knicks. I'm nervous as hell. The media still says Miami/Cleveland, no player/exec is saying that any more though.

Evan Roberts, a mid-day guy on WFAN who hates the Knicks and is a big Net fan, tweeted that LBJ is going to be a Knick. He's not a BS guy and has ripped the media all month for the BS rumors they've been putting out.

Apparently Cablevision flew two media helicopters to the Knicks practice facillity....

I don't know what he is talking about. I would think no matter where he went it would be the same kick in nuts.
