The only reason I can see him going to Miami...

he decided on his own to have a 1 hour special to announce his decision...can you imagine if that decision is to play with Wade and Bosh? Thats a pretty bold statement he's trying to make to everyone that HE is still the alpha dog....he's not though, and he doesn't realize it

Its a total slap to the face to Bosh and Wade if LeBron does go to Miami with the whole 1 hour thing

        By who?

He is the best player in the league and will be next season no matter where he plays.

There is an unbelievable amount of hate floating around. People want him to do whats best for them or their personal ideals not whats best for him which is just crazy. At this point he's damned if he dont & damned if he do.

Shaq was better than I thought he was going to be. But he missed alot of easy baskets he usually make(maybe it was the thumb).
But my point is Fisher's team got him in those positions. Not saying he didn't help at all but Mo Williams is much more important to his team's overall success than Fisher. Put Fisher on the Cavs in place of Williams and he gets his normal 10ppg 3apg and never has a look at a big shot and everyone's calling him a bum. Props to Fish for what he does but he can't really be used in an argument like this. He's Steve Kerr, BJ Armstrong, Craig Hodges.

As for Shaq, maybe it was his age... but he was brought in to play D, specifically against Howard. Shaq earned his money on the Cavs. Again, lets compare him to Artest who was brought in for a similar purpose. The Lakers don't make the finals and Artest is being grouped in as a bum on an average supporting cast. It's all in context. The team was built around James with players being brought in for specific reasons. Shaq did what he was supposed to do. I personally don't think guys like Mo, Jamison and Hickson had a chance to do what they were supposed to do bc the coach didn't put them in situations to maximize their skills.

I don't really care about the overarching argument (I'm still trying to figure how it became the primary discussion in here), but I don't think how the Celtics defended Howard and the Magic are a good example at all. They had both the perimeter defenders to handle the outside shooting of the Magic AND the physical big men to rotate on Howard and keep him off his game. They were just one of a couple teams (them and the Lakers IMO) built to handle the Magic's offensive setup almost perfectly.

There's a difference between running your offense through a player (Magic and Howard) and your offense primarily being a player (the Cavs and Lebron). while I certainly don't think the Cavs roster is the steaming pile of garbage some might think it is, I also think the Magic's is significantly better. Lebron is really just that much better than Howard.

By a lot people. Everyone already is saying so, why would they change their mind later?

If you're a alpha dog joining a new pack, you either take the other alpha dog out or you submit. What do you think it will be in Miami? It's Wade's city, county, team. LBJ is joining and not both of them joining Miami.

I think a LOT of people would not have a problem at all with him going to Miami if he hadn't already pulled this "I'm more important than my future teammates" crap and scheduled a 1 hour special for his decision.....plus the rumors that his "camp" leaked the Bosh/Wade story so LBJ could have the spotlight
