I am not angry at his decision, and the only people that should be are Cle fans IMO.

I am disappointed in how he did this, and disappointed that we may have another Super team. It's never good for the NBA I feel when there is like 3-4 teams that can win it and all the other teams are just going through the motions.

But other than that meh. His legacy is definitely hurt by this, unless the Heat go on to win bout 5+ championships and then I think no one will really care that he 'piggybacked' onto Wade.

For the Cleveland fans, it sucks but realize you still have your team. Maybe you'll completely suck and draft a player that can help the team move on from this. That's the best thing about American sports, the leagues are built so that teams can't stay down for too long.
I guess it's one of those "he's damned if he does, damned if he don't" type situations. People do always complain that pro athletes are always chasing the dollar rather than playing to win but i think most people only say that when it doesn't suit them (ie when a player leaves their team).

Maybe LeBron doesn't care? Maybe he would be happy enough with 5 rings even if Wade got 6. I mean just about everything we have seen from the guy from the chosen 1 tattoos to the 3rd person speak to the "King James" (could you imagine Durant calling himself King Kevin or King Durant) says the opposite but maybe he is actually being truthful when he says his number 1 priority is to win championships and he doesn't care about his legacy, the money, the hype and just want to win.

What really matters though is why I'm hearing reports outta NY that Isaiah Thomas made that last pitch to Lebron James and how Donnie Walsh is going to retire after not landing Lebron. WHATTT

I'm willing to bet thats how most cavs fans thought. I probably would to. But you got to move on for the sake of your team. It's common logic. I probably would have said worse. But you gotta move on. If you think like that your your own worst enemy. Hopefully they see it like that. Thats common Logic.

As A Lebron Fan...I can say I was going to follow the king any team he signed to, but I really believe this is not the right decision and Lebron shouldn't have signed with the Heat. I was praying he would sign back to the Cavs before he would join this so called "Super Team". This move will hurt Lebron James' legacy and if he think he had pressure to win a title before, he added alot of pressure to win multiple titles now...because I truly believe anything less than 3 championships at least is a failure in this move! Lebron's interview was kind of classless and he displayed alot of arrogance and selfishness...but with all this said I respect this decision...and will continue to support Lebron James!

Wow some of those people are pretty heated. Lots of f bombs and wishing LeBron blows out his knees which is always a classy statement.

One post i do agree with though:

Time to find who the Real Cavs Fans are
This is very true. It'll be interesting to see how many "true fans" stick around now James is gone. I hope they do, heaven know the Cav's will need the support of their loyal fans now more than ever on the rebuilding path.

I think the people who upset about LBJ are either

                      1. Cav fans
                      2. NY fans
                      3. Bulls fans
                      4. Kobe fans
                      5. LBJ haters
                      6. People who want/expect him to be the next Jordan...

I see 0 logic behind the negativity...LBJ wont be the first or last player to spend his career with future HOFers....How doest this disqualify him from being ONE of the GOATs and why is he Robin?

LBJ game is perfect for this...He's not Jordan, get OVER it!!!!

I totally agree! Lebron does not owe the city of Cleveland or those other fans a thing. Like Lebron say...he will find out who his true fans are...Lebron made the best decision for him...I still believe he made the wrong decision for his legacy but this clearly shows all he wanna do is win...As my fav player I respect his decision...but all in all i wish him the best...Lets Go heat!

I totally agree and as a Lebron fan I can 100% say I think lebron sold himself short and affected his legacy in a major way...but clearly the guy isn't worried about his legacy..he just want to win...and I'm all for it!

LeBron however and his team are really painted the villains today. This whole free agency has shown the true character of these guys with yesterday being the exclamation point.
