He took the easy way out and even unintentionally admitted it. How is that noble and brave? And the notion that LeBron is a "real leader" is the funniest thing I've read yet.

You're right. The intelligent thing to do was be Kevin Garnett. Waste the prime of your career and pray for a miracle to save you at the the end. Or better yet go on that list of "Greatest players to never win a Ring." At least he would be "King" of the losers.
      Good job! Good effort!

Well this way he won't be king of anything.

I loved when Jim Gray asked him about not being the number one guy and he said something like (typos left in): "It's not about sharing. You know, it's about everybody having they own spotlight."

We'll see how things work out I guess. But all that had to be done was to get rid of the hour-long special, and I think the national backlash would've been much less intense. But given what Wade seems to have turned into, maybe they're all just going to embrace the hatred, maybe even invite it.

Or be Jordan, stay and tough it out, and become the greatest of all-time. He had the talent.

Someone on ESPN said it best...

Moral of this story: Stay in school.

                  Wade: 3 Years at Marquette
Bosh: 1 Year at Georgia Tech
                  Douche from Akron: No college.

The most educated guy convinced his dumber friends to come play on his team for less money.

BTW now no matter how many they win, Wade will always have 1 more ring.

LeBron is not a leader and never was. He just wants to be a part of something, to feel wanted. Watch his documentary.

I think that is the reason people are so pissed. If it was New York or Chicago or LA we wouldn't be as pissed. But we were lied to for 7 years that this guy wanted to be the best that ever lived, and we fell for it.

So much for the notion that only Cleveland would hate LBJ and Akron would be fine if he left.

I guess LeBron was confused that his mom was the only resident of Akron, Ohio.

That's the point. The guy wants to WIN. Not be "the man", not be Jordan, not be what other people think he could or should be.

I don't know I guess I'm different. When I played competitive sports I wanted to win above all else. I guess that's not good enough anymore. You have to win in a way that will make the people on message boards happy.

He should have been more selfish, evidently. He should have not only wanted to win, apparently, but he should have also wanted to hog all the credit and glory for said winning.

                                Really like this statement here.
